I went from squirrelly out of the hole, to fighting the rear end during hard banks to just forgetting about it and just riding on out. I mean you can't expect the tire to make you suddenly have a feel for your bike's limitations or to be smart in your decision making, however you can expect top notch craftsmanship and outstanding performance h handling the ass end of a heavy touring bike even in rain without giving it much thought. I bought these pirelli tiers before loved them. Unfortunately I listened to some momo's on the net that said my 97 softail will fit a 140/90-16 rear. No way, it will hit the drive belt as the 130/90-16 is only a few mm away. And the 40 is a inch wider which would have been great if it fit. Also had to pay17$ restocking fee and 16$ postage to return it. ... show more

You know how it is when you look for tires for your bike. You want to save money where at the same time you want to optimize performance and longevity of the tire. I have a 2001 vulcan classic and it was supplied with bridgestone expedras. When I first took my bike out after having these tires put on I had to test them out. We have a route that goes thru the counrty where I live that has a lot of switch backs. Perfect test right? These tires grab like no other I have ever had. The ride is so smooth.
