  • Great tire for the FJR
Returned my FJR to neutral handling. Durability seems good so far.

  • Great tire. Great price. Only a couple others can compare.
Totally dig these tires. Still getting used to them but my comfort level with them is adapting rapidly, which means they're a good tire. Unless you're not an avid rider and don't care much about your rubber, only go with bi-compound tires (tri-compound if you track your bike). The only competitors to this tire is the Diablo's and mayyyybe the Dunlop sportmax Q3 (but I wouldn't use anything other than Pirelli, nothing against other brands its just a preference). I have these Angel GT's on one of my R6's and Diablo's on my other one. Love 'em. I wish Toyo made motorcycle sport tires... That would certainly give Pirelli a run for their money. ... show more

  • I'd recommend these tires to anyone and everyone! I'd recommend these tires to anyone and everyone!
I bought a set of Angel GTs after carefully researching good sport touring tires. A lot of them claimed to be good for several thousand miles but multiple reviews of these tires stated that they only ended up lasting a couple thousand. I'd rather spend a little more for a good tire that'll last a decent number of miles; for me that means at least 5k. I had read many reviews here and on Revzilla saying that these tires were really good with wet traction as well as tread life even on liter bikes. When I got mine I painted the letters and had they both mounted at the same time although some people suggested I mount them some time apart so they'd have time to break in individually and I wouldn't risk my traction. Since having them mounted I haven't changed my riding habits and I've been leaning as much as I can. I only have less than an inch width of area on either side of the tire that hasn't touched the road yet. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten the chance to test them in wet yet, but I do try to avoid riding in the rain. In conclusion, you can't go wrong with this tire and I can't imagine I'd want any other one, for street use, later on. ... show more

  • What kind of tire are you put on your bike matters
I ride hard. I ride fast sometimes on one wheel normally the back. I’ll say this the tire has been better than the Shinko’s probably equal to a continental which I like, but I wouldn’t say these are the greatest tires. I know they have a great name, but to be honest, I can rip through some corners, but they don’t give me confidence like I’d like and like I’ve had out of cheaper tires. You should let me test some more. ... show more

I was skeptical about ordering a tire from Amazon. Tire came in perfect condition. DOT was middle of last year which is awesome! Thank you!

  • Dailied on a 636cc supersport, 18k miles/annually
You read the title correct, I put 18,000 miles on my 636 in the first 8 months I owned it after driving home with 0 miles to start. This is NOT going to ride like a tire based more for track, but don't let it fool you either. once you learn how the tire chemistry works and the heat-up/cool-down cycles render the level of grip, I personally have kept up and passed other faster bikes on the straights and in the turns. I averaged around 6-7k miles from the rear (cruising 80-90mph hwy, wheelies in the city more often dropped it to 5700 one time). The only upgrade for similar cost, Michelin Road 5 or 6. If I couldn't have either of those, I'd slap on an Angel GT if needed. ... show more
