Before doing ANYTHING else, find, open, and fluff the pillows, bolsters, and armrests at least a day before building the platforms. We're on day 1, so we'll update this as we progress. We like the color and texture of the Light Gray fabric. The instructions are easy to understand and complete. And yes, the two boxes MAY be delivered separately, but the company will investigate if you're concerned (you'll even talk with a real person). Next day... putting screws blindly into hidden holes while bending over for a 70 + person is nuts, but it can be done... eventually. Two items arrived with defects. The Customer Service (see the Manual's Cover) is great! Replacements are coming next week. Pillows still seem a little limp... will give it another day. ... show more

The sofa arrived with noticeable marks on the fabric right out of the box. The foam does not expand or settle as it should, leaving uneven areas, wrinkles, and permanent indentations even after giving it plenty of time to take shape. The final appearance does not match the photos shown in the listing, and the product feels defective from the start. What a lovely footstool, ottoman. This is lovely deep green which goes well with my deep green loveseat and my lime green oversized adult beanbag. The fabric is a rich corduroy that will collect tons of cat hair, like most plush fabrics. The height is nice and it will be used as a sitting stool as much as a foot stool. The size is very generous and will take a good portion of the space in my living room, but I love it so much I don't care. The item came in a roll, inside a plastic bag, inside a box, inside another box.... But I enjoyed watching it expand and I did not have any offgassing. There were no strange smells. The whole thing has a zipper, I guess you might be able to take it off and wash it, but I doubt the fabric would be the same after, I am not going to try it for you. If I need to wash it, I will update the review, but I will try to keep it clean and avoid the need to try to remove the cover and wash it A very beautiful fabric in a great color and I love the whole thing. if you can use a good sturdy footstool, I do recommend this one. ... show more
