I really like these shorts! Super comfortable and durable. only downfall is they run small around the waist. I ordered my normal size of 32" and they are super tight. I would strongly recommend ordering a size or two bigger then what you normally wear!

Fit great. Good color. The primary button is not sewn on very well and looks like it wont last long. They are a good pair of shorts for the price though.

I surely did not purchase these for the color. It is more of a dark salmon color than red, but still ugly. And at $7 and change before government theft (AKA taxes) it was worth getting. I normally wear a 36 but have found lately that 36 feels big. So I thought I would try 34. They do fit but just a wee tight in the rear and crouch. But still comfortable. Maybe a 35 (if they make them and they don't) or a stretchy 34 would be perfect. They're a keeper.

I recently purchased the Amazon Essentials Men's Slim-Fit 9" Shorts, hoping for a sharp, well-fitting addition to my summer wardrobe. While the shorts do look nice and have a crisp appearance, I encountered some significant issues with their sizing. Firstly, the shorts have no give in the waistline and tend to run small. This lack of stretch makes them uncomfortable, especially if you're in between sizes or prefer a bit more flexibility. I find it frustrating that a 33" waist can vary so much between different brands, and even within the same brand depending on the day of the week they were made. Consistency in sizing is crucial, and unfortunately, these shorts fall short in that department. I purchased two pairs in different colors, expecting them to fit the same. However, one pair fit just right, while the other was too tight to button. This inconsistency is disappointing, especially when men's sizes are supposed to be actual measurements, not some arbitrary number. It’s challenging to find reliable sizing, and I wish Amazon Essentials would do better in ensuring uniformity across their products. Despite these issues, the shorts do have a stylish look and are made of decent quality material. If you can find a pair that fits you well, they might be worth the purchase. However, the inconsistent sizing and lack of stretch in the waist make them a less reliable option for online shopping. Overall, while the Amazon Essentials Men's Slim-Fit 9" Shorts have potential, their sizing inconsistencies are a major drawback. I am 5'7"-5'8", about 185 lbs. These shorts fit me just right, but if I were to gain 5-10 extra lbs, I would have to go up in waist size. These shorts have an excellent "fit." The length is perfect for me. They fit me above the knee, but not too high up where they look like short-shorts. The pockets are deep enough to help keep your items from falling out. Also, I notice they have a YKK brand zipper, which are sturdy, and don't de-rail. I don't see them much anymore, so I was pleasantly surprised with that quality of craftsmanship. Finally, these shorts have a nice, simple label with the waist size, and another one with the style "e.g., slim" which I find helpful in case I was to re-buy this or a similar product.
