  • Great quality
It’s pioneer.. need I say more.. this head unit was easy to install and works great.

  • Great basic stereo.
I really like pioneer stereos as they function the most like OEM stereos, yet have much better tuners and equalizer settings. This is a bare bones stereo, but with Bluetooth, hands free calling, a back up camera, and a few other features, it's all I want. I don't need screen mirroring, or apps. I bought this for my daughter's first car, and the less distractions the better. People complain about the lack of features, but if you want that, the next model up had it all. The $50 less basic model is perfect for my needs. ... show more

  • Nice head unit.
The unit has most of the features I needed at a fair price. The instructions were very superficial with no trouble shooting suggestions. The subwoofer output was non-functional so I was forced to use the pre-amp outputs to run my sub. It does the job but it was confusing until I found the alternative solution. Fortunately, I am using the internal amp to power the other speakers. When you install this unit, always solder the unit's wires to the wiring harness connector wires. The wires from the unit are so small that they pull out of the smallest butt end connector. I soldered the wires and then used closed end crimp connectors to insulate them. Do this and you won't have any connection issues. If you are replacing a stock double din unit, you may need to do some trimming of the opening to make it fit. It's a bit taller than the stock unit. Other than the above issues, it sounds good and has plenty of power for my standard cab pickup. The back-up camera was a nice plus. ... show more

  • Simple yet functional
Have had this stereo for 7 months, have not had an issue with it. Just know if you buy this, it does not have a gps built in.

  • Decent stereo
Didn't realize this model doesn't have apple car play or android auto. Glad it came with a back up cam since I installed this in my 2010 Silverado. It plays my music like I need it to. Just wish I had more features and apps. I feel like I payed more for the brand as opposed to the features I actually want. Make sure you buy the correct double din and steering wheel control module when purchasing this model. All the stuff amazon showed for frequently bought with did not match up with what was compatible with my truck ... show more

  • Good Radio for a Reasonable Price
Not fancy, but it sounds nice, and the FM reception is outstanding. The backup camera works very well and is very clear. I would add a LED strip on the bottom of the rear bumper and the camera is amazing. Instructions suck. Thats the only downside to this radio.

  • Absolute junk
I get it. It's cheap. But... If you're looking for the most mediocre hunk of poo ever? This unit is for you. It literally plays music. And the back up camera is trash. Period. Buy a off brand for the same coin and you'll get twice the options.
