This stereo has a lot of features, and is designed very well. Its understated, and not flashy, with lots of customization. There are lots of cheaper options, but if you want something from a premium recognized brand, this might be your only option for flip up screens. This unit is easy to use with a bright colorful screen, and the sound is great, with several pre-pop EQ and two savable custom EQs. It's by far one of the best purchase I've made however there is an issue. The safety feature for anti theft isn't safe at all. You can take the plastic trim to activate the anti theft mechanism but you are able to use 3 fingers to apply pressure on where the pins would go and still access the head unit. Although a ridiculous way of doing so, it is possible and doesn't really qualify as anti theft. Overall a great device and I get a ton of compliments on it in my car :). ... show more

    • Perfect upgrade for older vehicles with a single din opening
I bought this for my 2003 Mitsubishi Montero Limited thinking this would be perfect for it, don’t get me wrong when I say this, I hate it doesn’t support wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, plus I would have to buy a Avic-U280(not available on Amazon)for Navigation, the wired Apple CarPlay still gets me my Waze and music apps, but I realized I can reconfigure the dash setup where I can take out the cubby hole dish and put the climate controls there opening up the radio pocket to accept a double din radio, which now I’m thinking of getting a renewed Avic-8500nex which will give me navigation and wireless capabilities, and may look more appealing towards a factory look ... show more

I upgrade the radio in my xjs jag. It sounds fantastic. Because its a small sports car no need for an amp. I paired woth JBL speakers. Love it with the top down blasting the Rolling Stones or Santana
