Ok, you may think I'm crazy but I ended up having to replace all my speakers after putting in a new stereo. My Fox Body Mustang has 6 speakers, 2 in dash, 2 in the doors and 2 in the hatch. I had a guy replace my stereo and dash speakers, he put in Kickers, they sound ok, nothing really to complain about. Then I needed door speakers so I went to what I remember, Pioneer. They sounded great! Then we realized the back speakers were not right, guy said they were blown. Honestly, I think all the speakers were at least 20 years old. I don't drive my Stang that much but when I do I need good sounding tunes! Well I let him put in these ATG Transcend Series- ATG-TS572, I never heard of this brand but he is the audio installer and a good one at that. He is great and trust him but he is use to doing $1000 systems in peoples cars. I certainly don't need that, just a good full sound. To me, I hated the sound of the ATG's, I don't know what it is, I just didn't like them. Well, getting to the review, I ended up just ordering these Pioneers for the back. I did it myself, not that it was that hard but it's a tight squeeze in the back seat! I tested one, YES! This is going to work! Then I installed the second one and YES! They sound great and actually cost a little more than the ATG's but the sound was so much more fuller and made my ears happy! I highly recommend these Pioneers for an affordable replacement to a system. ... show more

These speakers are so much better than stock. I installed them last year in my 2010 Mazda 6, and they make the old speakers sound muddy and unclear. At first I tried them without an amp (no amp from the factory, just the head unit), and they sounded decent. I then installed a 1000w amp to power them, they just opened up and sounded crystal clear with enough punchy bass to shake my windows. They are not subwoofer level shake the car next to you, but they are competent. I like them so much, I just ordered a second set for the rear doors. Overall, I would recommend these if you have stock speakers and want a bit more punchy bass and clear highs instead of the mess that the stock speakers provide. Fit perfectly in my F-150 doors and definitely upgraded the sound a bit. I'm sure you could drive these with an amp to get more performance, but I have no need for that. They were a great replacement for my OEM speakers that came with the truck.

I have had Pioneer speakers in my vehicles in the past. So after buying a new to me vehicle it was a no brainer for me. They were back then and are now my favorite for vehicles. Their reasonable cost and fantastic output are why I always choose Pioneer.

Solid replacement over my stock speakers. Install was easy and they sound good. Only thing I can knock is the jumper they include is thin, like 20ga thin. Otherwise I’m happy with this purchase and would buy again.

Bought these to replace the stock speakers in my 2008 F450 work truck. Way better sound for cheap speakers. And they have enough bass that they don't sound tinny when you turn it up when that great song comes on the radio.
