I bought this to replace the stock radio in my 2015 Nissan Frontier. I had it professionally installed so they were able to tell me what additional parts I needed for this so I could still use my XM radio, back up camera and steering wheel controls. I’m glad I went with this item, it works great, has many features and the back up camera is much clearer than the stock one. Touchscreen works great.     • It’s pretty ok
Pretty good but the features sets are confusing on the Pioneer EX line. They all look very much alike so be sure to read the small print and get what you want as far as phone/video/supported apps/and supported accessories. They don’t progressively get more features as the model numbers go up. The on-screen graphics for menus and various displays look a bit dated and cheesy on this model, as well as the fonts. There are limited options for menu/display appearance but plenty for display color. I wasn’t expecting the radio to show a large, fixed dial display to show the radio is selected but doesn’t move when the channel is changed for example. It’s just a picture, not a functioning dial. Come on, it’s 2025! On the positive side, It does what it says it does and sounds pretty good, it does switch the factory sub amp on/off on my 08 Ford “shaker 500” system without issue and the Bluetooth works well. This is one of the more budget models so there’s that also. I’m gonna keep it for a while and see if it grows on me, it is a step up from the factory radio. ... show more

Pioneer, IMHO, is the best value out there. Deck is packed with features, easy to read display, and a terrific on board amp. Love this deck!

    • Worked great until it didn't :-(
I bought this on Amazon on July10, 2025 and it worked great until December 2025. In December it quit playing ( no sound ). 2 days later the sound came back. That lasted until the week before I was going on a long drive, then the sound went out and the Bluetooth was not longer working. I am writing this review on January 4th 2026 and I still have a broken stereo, I expected more from the brand, Pioneer used to be a top notch company and never put out garbage like this. The stereo is ok but I missed that it didn’t have Apple play and reordered a different head unit. This one will be gifted to a friend

    • I Love It!
I love it! Pioneer made it so easy to replace my old worn out radio in my Jeep Grand Cherokee. It did require some research to maintain my original rear camera, steering wheel controls, and usb port. It is now up and running and it is so much better than the Jeep radio.
