This is my 3rd Veracity and probably my favorite. I have the 3-15, 4-20 and 5-25 versions. They are all great, but this 4-20 seems to be the best balance of magnification and size for me.

I chose this optic over more expensive competitors due to the reticle options and warranty backing by Burris. I originally planned on mounting a much more expensive optic on my M1A, after hours of research I thought I'd found my perfect choice for the environment and types of shooting I'd be doing. A trijicon arrived and I was very satisfied with the look and feel of the optic until I looked through the glass and immediately thought they had sent me the wrong scope. Upon further investigation my disappointment was substantiated after finding this was the optic I'd spent so much time and money on. The reticle was barely visible even at the maximum magnification. I know and accept that I'm at 50 years of age and my eyesight isn't what it used to be, hence the necessity of a scope, but this was ridiculous. I returned the optic and found this Burris with the reticle I wanted and an iron clad warranty. The optic is a bit heavy and on the larger side, but the glass is clear, good eye relief and the reticle is exactly what I need for my area and the type of shooting/hunting I do. For closer shots the Burris QD XTR medium height rings allow me to acquisition my target using the stock rear peep and iron sights which can be easily acquired by looking just below my mounting system. ... show more

Was disappointed in FEDEX, shipped on a Friday from LaGrange, OR. Finally left the state of Oregon on a Tuesday evening! Arrived in Nashville on Thursday. Was delivered to my home on Friday evening. I prefer UPS. Now on to the scope. I am so pleased I bought this this scope. Burris Veracity 4-20x50 with MAD Knob system. This is my 3rd Burris scope. Was a Leopold Gold Ring fan prior to my first Burris 3-9x40 Fullfield II balisticplex bought in 2002 for my TC Encore 50 cal black powder muzzle loader. I shoot 150 gr triple 7 powder and a 338 gr platinum tip powerbelt bullet and this is a magnum charge and this scope has held its zero from initial zeroing in. Was so impressed with the performance of my 1st Burris cope I bought another and mounted it on my 7 mm Remington magnum Encore barrel. Above pictures show the Burris's I have purchased. I mounted that same scope on my Browning A Bolt 325 wsm. Again I was so impressed. When Burris introduced the Veracity line I read all I could on this scope. Review after review liked what I read so I decided to purchase this scope and mount it on my Browning A Bolt and remount my 4.5-14x42 on my 7 mag encore barrel. Sighted in the new veracity barrel on my Browning on Monday went deer hunting Tuesday and harvested a doe and the accuracy was pin point. I sighted my rifle in at 2:00 yds and ended up with a 3 shot sub 3/4 inch grouping, the glass is amazing. The light gathering capabilities of this scope is awesome. I would highly recommend this Burris Veracity scope to any shooter. The Burris for ever warranty is a no brainer nothing to worry about this is a great scope I would buy one if I were you. I have been shooting this scope for a few weeks now on a 6.5x284Norma with handloads out to 700 yards(max at my range). It has held up nicely and the optics are good. The dial isn't as crisp as some of my other scopes, but, it seems to track perfectly. I do not box test. I prefer to just shoot and record the needed adjustment. Fantastic glass, it has better glass than some of mine that cost $500 more. The turrents track perfectly and zero stop is spot on after I stopped screwing it up and got it set correctly. Probably should have brought the directions with me to the range , or at least read them, lol
