My original review, for the original drill receive is below. This is a update to my first review. There is no doubt that this company listens to their customers. They actually go that extra mile by not only listening to the feedback, they reach out and seek a way to make the customer happy, and improving their product to make it a product that people will want to use and will find it both enjoyable and friendly to operate. The new, redesigned drill has achieved that. It has more than sufficient power to drill everything from drywall to decking screws and leg bolts and masonry bits. The drill is much more comfortable and easy to use then it's original predecessor. Despite the flaws the original drill had, the company has done a full range of improvement with the redesigning and engineering of this tool, that make it worthy to add to your tool inventory. This tool has the power to get the job done and is sure to put a smile on the face of the user, for the ease of operation and the satisfaction of a job well done. My wife loves her pink tools but not this one. Drill is very heavy and bulky, especially for a person who has smaller hands and doesn't use a drill very often. It says 18v but wouldnt come close to the torque and power that my yellow and black 18v drill has. Both drills are relatively close in price but not performance. Dont be lured in by the pretty pink if you do youll either return it ot it will collect dust with junk under the sink.

It is a great drill kit for any around the house fixer uppers or projects your looking to do. I would have gave all 5 stars but unfortunately I received a faulty battery or charger not sure which yet but if I could I would give their customer service 5+ stars I contacted them with the problem and without hesitation or even a slight hassel they not only were quick to respond but solved the issue without hassel and fast. It would be great if all customer service/warranty associates were like that. Update: 09/4/20 Just like my original post their customer service is great! I mentioned how I received a faulty battery or charger when I mentioned it they didn't hesitate by the next day I was given my tracking number to a replacement battery and charger free of charge and did not have to send anything back. When I got the replacements a few days later turned out my charger was the faulty one, now my drill is working as it should, I couldn't be happier. Once again the customer service is 5+ stars I would recommend getting this drill kit not just because it's pink but it works perfectly for any around the house job and any issues with it contact their customer service they will help you no matter the issue and they even care enough to check up and make sure everything worked and if your happy. Very rare to find in companies now.

EDITED TO ADD: THEY FIXED IT!!!!! :D After I posted my review (below), a representative from the company contacted me and agreed that the batteries should last longer and wanted to replace them. However, they didn't have two batteries that would fit my drill because they have redesigned it and the new batteries will not work. So they have replaced the entire drill and also threw in a mini-drill/screwdriver "for my trouble." The new drill is fantastic! The only thing I didn't like about the old one was the battery life and this one has plenty. And there are a couple of new features with the new one that I love. It has a light (that turns on when the trigger is pressed) and it has a magnet at the base (that will hold screws or bits.) I would have been beyond happy with just the longer battery life - the new features are icing on the cake. I can't say enough nice things about the great customer service this company has provided. They shipped the new one immediately after speaking to me and getting my shipping information. I have absolutely no complaints about the new drill and am so pleased with the response from the company. Five well-deserved stars!! MY ORIGINAL REVIEW: This drill has plenty of power and torque. If it weren't for the incredibly short battery life, I would give this drill five stars. But the battery life is non-existent. Having a second battery is great, except that it doesn't hold a charge off the base. So nine times out of ten, the extra battery is also dead when the one I'm using dies. Even when I plan ahead and charge both batteries before taking on a "large job" (like, you know, hanging a shelf!) it really irritates me to have to change the battery mid-project. And often even both fully charged batteries aren't enough to finish the job and I end up trooping out to the garage to get my husband's drill.

I bought this drill probably 5 years ago. After a lot of hard work it finally gave out. But I loved it and it lasted a long time and it worked good for me. And it is Pink.. I was so happy to see I could get the same product again so I could use my old batteries, which still do work by the way. Great product.
