I’ve been working out six days a week for the past three years. I’m 55, and while I’m not trying to be a bodybuilder, staying strong, flexible, and mobile is a big priority for me. I use Beachbody programs daily and love my adjustable dumbbells, but sometimes I need something to mix it up. With that being said, I'm definitely not including any pics or video of me working out in this review. Trust me, you don't want that. Anyway, that's why I picked up this kit, and honestly, it’s been a really solid addition to my routine. The kit comes with 6 resistance bands that can go up to something like 270 pounds when stacked together, which is a lot more than my adjustable dumbbells, which only go to 52.5 pounds each. With that kind of versatility there’s plenty of range depending on how much effort I want to put in. That makes it great when I’m doing squats or lunges (never skip leg day). The bar itself is comfortable to grip even when I’m sweating like a madman and it feels sturdy during exercises. The last thing I want is a bar bending or snapping on me during a workout. That would be injury city. Also, I can do a lot of gym exercises that I just couldn't do at all before I got this kit. I’ve used the ankle straps for leg work and the handles for arm exercises like bicep curls and rows. The door anchors are cool, and they make it easy to set up for upper body pulls or tricep pushdowns. The portability is a big bonus, too since I travel a lot for work and most hotel gyms leave a lot to be desired. Everything fits into the included bag, so I can throw it in a corner when I’m done or even take it with me when I’m on the road. This kit has been great for keeping my workouts from getting stale. It’s simple to set up, easy to adjust, and surprisingly versatile. Whether I’m using it to warm up, stretch, or build strength (all things that are important to me) it’s a practical piece of equipment that works well with what I already do. If you’re looking to add some variety to your fitness routine, this is definitely worth checking out.

I have a resistance band bar that only connects directly to a standard loop band; it works well for a few exercises, but the style of this bar allows for far more stability and range of exercises. With loops on the bottom connected to the resistance bands instead of just a single band, you can have way better form, and is far less awkward than the other type. I would have liked higher resistance bands, but am sure I can get those separately. Great for on the go or recovery workouts, and is super quick to adjust.

I like exercise equipment that allows me to train in multiple planes. While my preference is on a physical weight of some kind, there are muscles that are a lot more difficult to hit, or impossible to target sufficiently, with weights of any kind. You may need resistance bands. Plus the "intensity curve" of elastic bands increasing resistance as you move towards the stronger portion of the movement range adds a unique dynamic to your workout. I have various bands and systems, but nothing with a bar, so when I saw this was available I had to give it a shot. It arrived in a nice box and contained all of the promised attachments as well as a carrying sack. I've only used the bar, the foot straps, and the door anchors. So far I really like this bar! The straps at the ends have three attachment points along the strap which lets you adjust how tight the band will be at the top and bottom of the movement. The door anchors work just fine and the foot straps work very well. This pretty much lets you hit a full range of movements. Overall I'm pleased with this kit and look forward to using it to shore up weak points or let me target some specific muscles. I recommend!

I was impressed by the quality of the pieces in this setup. Everything feels comfortable to use and quite solid in terms of durability. The bar has a nice long thread for putting it together. At first I thought it seemed a little short, but comparing it to the photos it's the same length and trying out the different exercises, I never felt it was too short. The bar itself was very comfortable to hold due to the foam, and could be held very securely. The foot straps aren't just webbing, there's a thin layer of foam inside so the webbing won't cut into your feet if you're barefoot. Very thoughtful (and much better than a much simpler set I've tried). The webbing is all very wide and looks to be good quality. All of the sewing looks well done, no mangled stitches or loose threads. I get the impression of excellent quality control which is getting more rare these days. The set comes with a booklet that details many exercises you can do. There are also some good youtube videos out there. I do wish the rubber bands were more easily identifiable by their weight. Some are dark grey and the rest are light grey - you have to check the weight rating on them to be sure of what you're using. Better color coding would have been nice, but this is a minor nitpick. Everything else about the set is great.

Easy to install. Just screw on three bar sections to each other. Then connect resistance bands on each side. Then handle choice. The bar is wrapped around good quality foam. It is good quality and should hold up for a little while. Bar is sturdy. It feels sturdy and strong. Bands come in 35, 45, and 55 pounds of resistance. Can be difficult for beginners. Consider trying out 35 pounds of resistance before getting this kit. It is not possible to swap out for light weight resistant bands. Resistance level is just right for me. The three types of handles offer lots of options for exercise. Love the different workouts that one can do with this bar. Doesn’t take up much room. Book is good for starting out. The greatest value is the bag that you can put all the handles and bands. They really thought of everything. Good value for money. Takes up little room. Offers a challenging workout.
