This knife set is incredible. The knives themselves are very well made and are a true example of what a knife set should be. They are very sharp and sturdy. The magnetic block is exquisitely made. The wood and finish are beautiful and add a bit of refined elegance to the kitchen counter. The magnets on the sides are very strong and hold all of the knives securely. Being able to see the knife you want to use makes things much easier in the kitchen. I need a paring knife bam, it is right there. I do not need to pull them all oout until I find the little bugger.

When available is a great deal. Has many knives and steak knives. Also shears and honer. Blades are thin and durable but wouldn't but thru bones with them. The fake Damascus pattern is nice cosmetics. I would buy again and this has replaced my 20yr wusthof classic 13pc set

This knife set checks all the basic boxes for me. The balance and build are excellent. They have a full tang with three smooth and well-spaced rivets to ensure the handle stays secure, and a seamless butt that emphasizes their quality. The blades are extremely sharp from tip to heel, letting the knife do the work, while the bolster blends into the handle very smoothly making them easy to clean. They come well packaged and protected, each knife encased in plastic with a cardboard sleeve and a plastic tip guard. The beautiful magnetic storage block arrives in bubble wrap. The block is innovative with both sides containing a strong magnet to hold the larger knifes, and slots in the top for the eight steak knives and two smallest knives. Did I mention the block sides are magnetic? Only one side is needed for the included knives, leaving another whole side to hold either more knifes or small metal kitchen utensils at the ready. The block itself is heavy and well made with a smooth finish and rubber feat. It will look beautful and sophisticated in any kitchen. The knives cut cleanly and straight. There's not much more annoying in the kitchen than a knife blade that tends to cut on a slant. I tried them first on a lemon, and it cut so cleanly there was little to no juice lost, even cutting thin slices. The Damascus style pattern on the blades is nice but fairly faint, which is fine with me. It gives them character without screaming for attention. The only weakness, is the set has, in my opinion, is the pair of kitchen shears. They have nice blades with integrated a hook-type bottle opener and a cracker/twist bottle opener. The weakness lies in the grips. They're lightweight plastic and feel rather inexpensive compared to the knife set in general. I'm sure they'll last and do their job well, but pulling the shears out of the block is a little disappointing after handling the knives. This is a very minor downfall considering the various qualities offered by the rest of the set. I would strongly recommend the purchase of this knife set to anyone that enjoys working with quality utensils in the kitchen, or wants to give a thoughtful and memorable gift that will last for many years.

Can’t beat the quality for the price. The knife block is not my favorite as I prefer knives to be in a dedicate spot vs. some slapped (magnetized) along the outside of the block. Otherwise the weight, design, and feel are great.

I’m in love with my new knife set, incredibly sharp, and comfortable to hold. The storage design is awesome with the magnetic sides, it makes it very slim while also adding a touch of class. The butcher block looks nice too. Super easy to use with a nice variety of blades. I think it’s a great value.

I recently got this kitchen knife set with a block, and it's fantastic. The knifes are made of high carbon stainless steel, so they are really sharp amd durable. I love that it comes with a magnetic knife holder, it keeps everything organized and within reach. The set includes steak knives, which are a nice bonus for dinner as we have steaks quiet often. Overall this set has everything I need for cooking. It's a great value for good quality. Highly recommend for anyone who loves to cook.
