As others have stated, the speaker in the door is SUPER LOUD and obnoxious (my son even covered his ears at first). First thing I did was take the door off and wrap the little speaker in masking tape … that made it a much better volume to deal with. *** just be careful to catch the spring that will shoot out from the latch mechanism. Great learning device for kids around 3-6 years old on saving money but making it interesting and interactive. Just the right size for kids and the stickers for decorating is a plus. Setting up requires a little bit of parents help but not too difficult.

You may program the unlock code to any three-digit number you wish. It manages both coins and bills. The bill feeder is great practice for children to learn how to use bill machines and the idea of thumbprint access (you don't really program your own thumbprint). The bill feeder also reels the money in the same way an ATM or vending machine would. This is a cute little bank that will hold a sufficient amount of money for a kid. The lock mechanism is clever and the lights/sounds are enough to be fun and not overly annoying. Unless, that is, your kid wedges a credit card into the money slot and the bank plays the intro for “This Old Man” on repeat for minutes on end and you can’t find a screwdriver to take out the batteries and it WON’T STOP.
