  • Go easy on it!
Well I like the idea a lot. And I like how the boots look on it. But one screw holding each tall pole up is not very sturdy. I'm putting heavy boots on these. These are cowboy boots, riding boots, hiking boots. I'm gently easing them on and off because this is not a rugged design. The other terrible idea in the design is the bottom. I have a similar smaller boot stand. The bottom stands on feet. This one has the screw heads sticking out of the bottom. To compensate for that they give you silicone or rubber little dots to put on it to keep the heads clear of your floor. Those things never stay on for long at least not at my house. Maybe its the high humidity that messes with adhesives but these things never stick for long on anything here. I intended to use this on my covered porch outside so we could stop wearing our boots in straight from the barn, I think it would probably be fine in someone's closet or inside corner where it will never be moved and will receive some delicate treatment. That's not how my house operates. Just dropping my muck boots onto one of the poles in the back already had one bending. I was able to straighten and retighten it but it's definitely not up to any kind of rough treatment. ... show more

  • Flimsy compared to the first one I bought.
I bought 2 of these and the first one was way better quality than the 2nd one. I was not at all happy with the second one. The first one had metal braces in the middle and it was very sturdy. The 2nd one had plastic braces and was very flimsy. I won’t risk buy another one

  • Boot rack feet
Boot rack was easy to build but the plastic/rubber feet will not stay attached to the frame.

  • All steel & sturdy but adhesive feet make me concerned
This is a quality product made of powder coated metal. It was easy to assembly although it did take a little time as you have to attach each of the shoe poles to the base. I didn’t realize how much space this boot organizer would take up in our bedroom. My only quibble with this unit is that the little feet that lift the protruding screw tops at the base of the organizer from the ground & potentially scratching hardwood floors are tiny adhesive rubber feet. The balance of the organizer would be thrown off if any of these adhesive feet fall off & then the organizer might also risk scratching our hardwood floors. That’s the only poorly designed element. ... show more

  • Easy to assemble, keeps boots off the floor and from sagging.
Assembly was easy but a bit time consuming, the instructions are just photos and no words so you just have to look and follow along. I have a lot of boots and this will help keep them organized and tucked into the back of my closet. I hope by putting them upside down they will get less dusty as well. Seems to work holding them up. If I designed them, I'd add a wider part to the top of the poles just to make the boots stand up a bit straighter, mine are pretty heavy and lean forward rather than standing up straight. ... show more

  • I Didn’t Know I Really Needed This!
We live outdoors as often as we can whenever the weather permits, and even during those iffy periods of weather we still want to go walk the dog or spend time in the garden. This takes care of our boot problems as we often just want to take them off immediately upon entering the house - and they become a pile of dirty footwear. This solves the problem by keeping the dirt pointing up with the heels until we need them again. Also has the benefit of keeping rodents or insects from having easy access to temporary housing. Highly recommend. ... show more
