I liked the inclusion of paddle covers and pickleballs that come with this set for beginners. I was a little disappointed with the paddle handles, as I prefer more ribbing on my grips. Although the description indicates carbon fiber for these paddles, the carbon fiber I'm used to is much grittier than these. Overall though I would recommend this set for people starting to try the sport.

After playing with one of these paddles for about an hour I am impressed! This is a tremendous value for beginners. Honestly, the taxes on one of the Big Brand paddles would cover the entire cost of this PAIR of paddles. Wow! With regard to quality, they are made from fiberglass. That's a step down from Carbon Fiber but if you're just starting out, trust me, you're not going to notice the difference. This is a nice, stiff paddle with more than enough pop to learn and improve your game. The paddle is well balanced. The grip is comfortable and stays put in the palm of your hand. It's a long grip too so you can easily use a one or two handed grip. The paddle face has no grit to speak off. It is extremely smooth so it's not that great for getting spin on the ball. But again, if you're a beginner you're probably not going to be worried about paddle face grit and spin. You just want to learn to control where you hit the ball. And this set it perfect for that. It includes two covers and 4 balls. The covers are unique in that they each including netting in which you may keep a ball or two, your phone, key fob etc. A good starter set at a great value. Have fun!

The set comes with everything you need to get started: two paddles, two bags, and both indoor and outdoor pickleballs. What a good deal! Everything needed to play pickleball all in one purchase and at a great price, too. These paddles are comfortable to hold, lightweight and yet offer some powerful hits.
