It is a very pretty and comfortable hammock but unfortunately it was very musty smelling. It was well packaged and loved the extras that came with it. So we were shocked that the odor was so strong like it had been in a wet basement for some time. I would have kept it but it really affected my allergies. Sure this is a one off situation and other than that it is a beautiful hammock. Update: Seller felt horrible that we apparently received a hammock that had been sitting in some warehouse for an undisclosed period of time. They kindly made things right and now I have a beautiful hammock that we - and current company - are using almost every day. This seller’s customer service is eager to make sure their customers are happy and I’m very impressed!

It does come in 3 parts that stick together, but they are easy to put together and stay together well. It has supported my back so well and is so comfortable. None of the parts are stable or sturdy, they go everywhere. One arm goes up, the other to the side, the headrest comes off and you have to search for that. I am 68 with horrible back and neck issues. I got tired of piecing together pillows for comfort on my couch and decided to look for a pillow support that would resemble stable chair like comfort on the reclining part of my couch. I COULD sit in the recliner but my dogs like to sit beside me. The arm rest on the open couch side is needed and of course back support. This design IS RIDICULOUS. It's just like putting together all the pillows I had before because nothing stays together, it's all over the place and the bottom sticks out so far that I ended up turning it upside down. I thought this design with the option of removing the one arm on the couch arm side would be the answer but the other arm was pushed up to an upright position. So the cushion ended up more comfortable upside down, the armrests didn't stay in place and the neck pillow wouldn't stay attached and had to be retrieved every time I moved. What a mess. I tried for an hour or so and then went back to my pillows, set up a return and ordered a 1 piece design with a pillow that I am happy to adjust if the placement isn't right or becomes detached. I would suggest it may be better for a bed than a couch but you will still have the issue with floating arms and lost head rest. A VERY, very stupid design. ZERO STARS if I could, I can't think of 1 redeeming feature.

This is a cheaply made hammock. It is ok, but I left my other one hanging. Looks like the style of hammocks found in Argentina. I love that it comes with straps and carabiners.
