  • Love the sturdiness and flexibility.
Color: Phone Copy Stand
I absolutely love it. The flexibility in the gooseneck is soo much better than the non-gooseneck one. So happy with it!

  • Fine for a cell phone.
Color: Pic Projector
I purchased this to use with an Olympus E-M5 and it seemed to be a good setup at first. The upper ball mount needs to be really tight to keep the camera in place. I had the vertical arm retracted as far as it would go. The E-M5 has a mechanical shutter and this induced enough motion to "ghost" the image. So I would not recommend this for use with any camera that has a mechanical shutter. It would probably be fine for a cell phone or a fully electronic camera, though I wouldn't go much heavier. I gave it 4 stars as it is a good product for a cell phone, just not so good for a DSLR like mine. ... show more

  • Great for some things not so great for others
Color: Phone Video Stand
This is an affordable versatile piece of equipment, although there are some things it may not do well. So I thought I'd take the time to explain. First of all out the box it comes in four pieces. The table clamp, the adjustable arm, a bracket that allows for greater adjustability of whatever you are mounting, and a phone clamp. Most everything is made of metal with the exception of the phone clamp which is made out of a reasonable plastic. The metal construction gives this product durability but the metal is a bit thin and on the cheaper side. The entire product is easy to construct and get working with minimal hassle. In terms of functionality this product has some pros and cons. The first pro of this product is the height of the arm. If you are using this for film or photography you can get a great shot downward at your subject. This is advertised primarily as an arm to film downward anyways for things like cooking demos or scanning documents. So I can attest this product would do this well if that's what you need. Another pro of this is the phone clamp and gimble are highly adjustable. I like this because you can do much more this arm then simply shoot phone video downward. It can adjust to be used horizontally as well. This takes me to the cons. One major con for me is the adjustability of the arm. It may not look like it in the picture, but this arm only has one major point of articulation. This means that while the gimble is highly adjustable you are still limited in the angles you can get with this arm because the one point of articulation only brings the arm up and down in a sandwich style. This was terrible for me because I wanted to use a wide-angle lens to get a horizontal shot over the table I was filming. I like that I can film from a higher angle, but without the ability to adjust the arm outward, this arm can't give me good horizontal filming angles. Another major con is the phone clamp, it is a bit stiff and old fashioned, with no lever to open and close the clamp. This is a bit annoying and to make it worse, the phone clamp is large so if you need are filming or shootings with a rear view camera on a cell phone your touch screen will largely be unavailable to you. In all, this is a decent product to have laying around for minimal cost. It did not serve the purpose I had in mind but it's parts are so universal I have decided to repurpose it as a microphone boom stand. I think most people will find a use for it like I did although from a strictly filming purpose, it serves a very limited function due to the lack of mobility in the arm. ... show more

  • Awesome and super affordable
Color: Phone Video Stand
This product feels like it's higher quality than what you paid for. It's metal and sturdy, and it doesn't feel rickety at all. I use it with a phone, so I'm not sure how it'll hold heavier accessories, but my guess is that it'll do fine. I don't use the phone clip it came with for two reasons: 1. The springs are really hard to pull apart, which of course is good for holding on to the phone, but a little annoying to deal with. 2. Because it's so strong, it activates the side-squeeze feature on my Pixel 4, so I just use a different grip. I do think it's fine to use for most people though. The clamp that holds on to the table works great. I even tested it on an odd-beveled table that I have, where only half of the circular surface touches the table, and it still manages to stay stable (I included a photo). I don't recommend doing this if you are holding heavier accessories, but holding a phone is fine. The combination of the ball accessory+the silver piece (that has up/down range) at the end of the arm allows you to get pretty much a full range of positions, you just gotta play with both. ... show more

  • POS!!!!!
Color: Pic Projector
This has been a hunk of junk from day one. The ball adjuster cap (or whatever it’s called) does and has not held my projector in place from day one. The tightener to hold the projector angle broke within days of receiving! I should have returned it.
