After searching and reading up on several different car, phone stand brands this is the one that I chose and I am extremely happy with my purchase. It is very well put together and very sturdy. I like that the height is adjustable and this fits my phone perfectly while still in the case. It also comes with a base that you can mount to your car if you don’t want to stick it to your windshield. So you have two different options to use this stand, either in your windshield or either on your dashboard, so I like the fact that you can use it to different ways. I used it as soon as I bought it because I had to travel and use the GPS on my phone and my phone was not wobbling while in the holder. I am beyond impressed by this item and actually excited to have something to hold my phone while using the gps feature on my phone. The phone holders i have bought before never are able to hold the weight of my phones and always break after 1 or 2 weeks. This fits like a glove in the corner of my Prius' windshield for easier view when driving compared to other ones I have purchased in past. Its simple, inexpensive, super durable for the price, and not too large where its in safety visual view when you drive. I love the grippers on both the sides and bottom to keep my phone in place which many other ones could not. This holder had the super long reach that my car (Chevy Volt) required for the phone to be visible while driving, but not blocking any lines of sight. Good News: the suction cup and arm joint are strong enough to stay in place, even when you fully extend everything, putting the weight of the phone way out on the end of a pretty long arm. Bad News: the suction cup doesn't stick to your dash, it sticks to a flat black circle (included) that comes with sticky stuff on the back. That sticky stuff lasted exactly one week, then my closed up car became an oven in the heat of summer and the sticky stuff basically melted. After having used it for a week, I knew I liked the thing and the positioning, so I glued the circle on with gorilla glue, and its remained in position ever since. ... show more

A lot of car holders I used in the past had me struggling to attach my phone to the holder but this has a button in the back to open and release the tension. I have a Honda Accord, and this was bought to place on my dashboard, which has a shelf below the top area below the windshield. I bought a different one at a local store, and it would not even stick, so I had to return it. I thought, I am sure this Amazon one won't work either.... BUT IT DID!!! It is great. It comes with a little mounting disk to put on uneven surfaces, which I didn't see beforehand, but it is staying attached even without the disk! I have that in my car, just in case I need it later, but after about 3 weeks of use, it is still clinging great! Well worth the price! ... show more
