I've only used it with A4 regular paper. Although it doesn't print perfectly, the quality is entirely acceptable, and the printed texts are fully readable. It's easy to set up and use with both a phone and a laptop. However, the materials feel a bit cheap

Unfortunately I didn't use this printer on a regular basis before the return window (one month) was up. I've used it less than 10 times and I can no longer get it to work. It doesn't recognize when a piece of paper has been inserted and so it won't print. A total waste of money. When I did use it a handful of times, it was very difficult to get the paper to align correctly so the printed pages were always a bit crooked.

This printer is amazing I’ve used it 4 times now it works really but after that the roller ink keeps getting wrinkled and then won’t print properly. The roller ink itself is like $10 so you’re spending more money on paper and rollers.

This little printer just works. It's rare these days for a printer to just work. Between downloading the app and turning the printer on, I was able to print my document in less than 5 minutes. The printer came ready to print. I can't say the same of literally any name brand full size printer on the market. I didn't have to enter my credit card, make a user account, download 2 apps, connect it to the Internet and then to my device. It's blissfully simple. The big drawback would be that you can't print color, and large documents would be a bit of a hassle because of the lack of paper tray.

Well, I really like this Phomemo P831 printer, it's much better than my previous M08F thermal printer in all aspects. The printer itself is small and compact, making it easy to take with you wherever you go. It fits easily in a backpack or a shoulder bag, and it's surprisingly lightweight (only around 750 grams!), but still feels like a sturdy piece of equipment. The app connection and setup is fairly easy, and it took me less than 5 minutes to start printing. But if you have troubles connecting, use this trick - double press the power button and the printer will print out a QR. Then just scan this code with the app, and it will connect to the printer no problem. Once connected, the printer works flawlessly. The app is well-designed and straightforward to use, which is great for people who aren't tech-savvy. You can print all sorts of things from the app, such as web pages, photos, and documents. You can also connect it to your PC or Mac and print the same way as you do with any other printer. The printing itself is quick, and the quality is excellent at 300 dpi. The text is sharp, high contrast, and easy to read. The fact that this printer only prints in black and white may be a turn-off for some people who want color printing, but for me, it's not an issue and BW documents printouts are outstanding. The battery is 2000 mAh that allows you to print whooping 120 pages without ever recharging, which is fantastic for mobile printing when you don't have any power source nearby. Now, the best thing about this printer that actually sold it for me is that it can use both special thermal paper and regular plain paper! Yes, that's right, you can print on standard A4 or Letter paper, so you don't need to purchase expensive thermal paper rolls specially for this printer (though you still need thermal ribbon to print). I like to use regular paper because it's not as glossy as thermal paper and the end cost is lower compared to specialized paper. End-to-end, while I don't think that this printer will replace my standalone office printer, for occasional use on-the-do outside your office or home it's a perfect and cheap alternative. *** TL;DR *** The Phomemo P831 is a compact, lightweight printer with easy setup and Bluetooth connectivity. It prints flawlessly, lasting through 120 pages on a single charge, and the app is user-friendly for various print jobs. Quality at 300 dpi is impressive for text. Its ability to use both thermal and regular paper is a game changer and makes it a great portable option, ideal for occasional use outside the office or home. The only downside is that it only prints in black and white, which might not suit those needing color prints. But for BW documents it's perfect.
