Arrived sooner than expected and very happy. I'm working on my nieces thank you wedding attendee gifts since I will not be flying over to the UK. This little heart is only part of the thank you attendee gift, but most importantly, I wanted to resin coat the heart. This is my first attempt and imo, it was a success. The resin isn't too thin nor is it too thick and easy to work with. Sadly, my "light died" in the middle of me coating the heart and pulling the resin to the edge with the tools that were included in the kit. UPDATE- The company reached out, which I never expected, and offered to send a brand new kit to replace the lamp that quit suddenly. I would give the company 5 stars just for customer service. I haven’t tried the new lamp yet. The resin is great- even for a beginner. Easy to work with, self-leveling, great doming effect, no odor (that I can detect anyhow). BUT- the lamp is crap. I have completed five badge reels and two keychains over the span of a few weeks. Then, today, in the middle of making three badge reels the lamp quit working. Will not turn on at all. This was the 2nd time I have used UV resin. And the first time using a UV light. It was simple to use but I did have trouble curing the resin with a light. The bottom of my cast didn't set. I'm hoping it was the fact that the mold was opaque instead of clear. I have also been using it to dome up some of my pieces of jewelry and it works great.
