This sledge is a beast! The fat handle really works your grip strength and gets your shoulders burning. I swing it on tires a couple times per week, and it has held up great. I wouldn’t recommend hitting hard surfaces. But as a workout tool, it’s great.

The media could not be loaded. I’m very impressed with the built quality of this sledge hammer and the weight distribution. The knurling is aggressive, which I prefer; it helps with grip and control of the hammer to prevent slipping. I ordered 25lbs and it is heavy, so proper technique is important. You can wear gloves and still get the job done. For the value of money, it is worth it. I highly recommend this product for fitness training. Additionally, the customer service is great! I had an issue with delivery and my problem was solved immediately. They are committed to provide an amazing product with clear communication. I am a happy customer.

Really works well with compacting dirt, breaking up really tough materials, though I don’t know how good it is for demo work in the long run it is built very well. My advice is to be very careful when swinging a 30 lb hammer so you don’t mess up your shoulders. It has nice knurling so you don’t lose grip too. This thing is really an awesome and well built hammer

First I want to point out that it's a "fitness " hammer. If you are planning on building a fence this might not be your best choice. For fitness it is wonderful. I have used a regular sledge hammer for years and this one is vastly superior in every way. It's easier to grip and has a nice weighted balance to it. Overall quality feels top notch. It arrived in perfect condition. Would highly recommend it if you are looking for a sledge hammer to improve fitness and strength. Only point of concern is if you work out in the rain, sleet and snow the hammer gets wet and it gets very slippery. You have to take extra care when it's wet or it will get away from you.

Ill be honest I just wanted to buy a big hammer, this was 30lb and way less price and more weight than anyone else. the head is welded to the hollow metal handle, thought I have serious suspect that weld can hold up to serious swings on anything more than a rubber tire. Still i love just having a 30lb hammer like a real dwarf
