I found the installation very intuitive so easy to do and as a bonus Phillips has a video and I had to re-key your lock so you can actually if you have two locks now so you can actually have them use the same key as long as you buy that rekey kit here in Amazon along with Special tweezers for rekeying. ... show more

If your door is pre drilled most the instructions can go away, just make it work. Everything fit my existing fiberglass door well, had to modify the outside handle bottom hole being this one was more narrow than my last but easily done. The app set up was super easy, handle looks great and while gone if our kids stop I know exactly who is here by notifications. I went through 2 expensive sledge locks being the finish failed after a few years each and looked horrible, so my reason for a complete change. My only complaint this uses 8 AA batteries, unsure why less batteries or different style could have not been designed and used. ... show more

We actually loved the lock, but it never alerted us when our batteries were low. It didn’t even let us open using the key. We had to break a window to get into our own house. Super disappointed in this product. We wil be switching back to something traditional
