I am someone who loves movies and music. So I appreciate when I purchase a product that sounds as good as what this Philips sound bar does. Phillips has an app, to change settings for music , movies and with or without Dolby! When I turn on my Roku television, the sound bar automatically turns on. I can control the audio level from my Roku remote. It came with a remote from Phillips, but you don’t have to use both, which is a great convenience. I play music from Spotify, and my CD collection, which sounds great at any sound level up to 100% with no distortion. I did a lot of research before I purchased the sound bar and compared other sound bars made by Roku as well. This is a top quality sound bar, and it was easy to set up! I bought this to replace the Philips HTL7180 I've owned for about 15 years ago. For the last 5 years it's been mounted on the wall in my home office and only plays bluetooth music from my phone. The subwoofer thumped under my desk. The sound was crystal clear. I loved that freaking soundbar. But the left speaker died last week and it just isn't the same anymore. I thought this basic model would be a good replacement. I mean, it's bluetooth music, right? I was so wrong. This B5306 is terrible. The sound from the speakers is terrible. Weak and scratchy. The mounting instructions were terrible. The EQ modes all sound the same. No bass or treble control. As I type this I have the subwoofer sitting on my desk inches from me and I literally can't hear anything from it unless I place my ear about an inch from the hole in the back. Really disappointing. Will be returning immediately. I don't think I trust Philips anymore. ... show more

This is a great speaker. Easy to figure out the inputs. The Philips app makes it even easier to control the speaker. This speaker blows away the $200 Monster speaker that it replaced. 👍🏽
