This is so far very good. My 2 prior hydro floss machines both started leaking at the tube that conducts the water to the mouthpiece. I have only had this Phillips brand for 2 weeks. The tubing looks sturdy.

Now this was expensive, but I am happy anyway. I have had several other water picks and the chord got all messed up. This one fits in a specially designed area. It also has a large water tank that has a cover (nothing can fall in it) that actually stays in place and does not fall in. The tooth brush is not an electric cord so is easy to use and has a recharging station attached. I also splurged and bought my husband his own toothbrush. It is a nice size and works well. I've been using Waterpik products for about 10 years and I like the functionality, but they look ugly on your countertop, they're noisy, don't have great features, and all my Waterpik products seem to break in 12 to 18 months. I thought I would give Philips a try this time when my Waterpik Ion died on me. So far, I've very impressed, the unit looks far nicer, it has more pressure than the Waterpik, and it's much quieter. This tool doesn't eliminate either of those but it's a great - and easy - supplement to flossing and is designed in a way that helped me use it with less water overspray.
