I've been a fan of the sonicare products since they came out years ago and when my old sonicare died, I upgraded to this model. I'll admit the price was certainly more than I wanted to spend, but wow, I'm glad I splurged and got this model. Not only is it lovely, but it works better than any sonicare I've had before. My last Sonicare toothbrush died in the same way my previous one did and I think it’s because I push too hard when I brush. My husband found me this one that senses too much pressure. It has an app that guides you when you brush, keeps track of when you brush and actually tells you how you’re doing! You can track flossing & cleaning your tongue too. It’s pretty darn cool! I only used it last night but can already tell this is my favorite Sonicare toothbrush ever! I’m expecting to not break this one since it warbles, lights up and tells you on the app when you’re pushing too hard which is just what I needed and my teeth are so clean. Honestly, I cannot say enough about this toothbrush. I love the glass charging cup plus the ability to change both the modes and intensity of vibration while brushing. I DO NOT use the app (too much big brother tech out there, nor do I believe in Fakebook) so the bad reviews about those issues are not applicable to me. I simply brush my teeth old school style lol. Using my cell phone to track my toothbrush is ridiculous!!! That being said, if you are looking for a high end quality toothbrush to SIMPLY clean your teeth better, this is the one for you!!! Stay away from the app and just brush your teeth. Don't rely on tech to tell you how or when to change your brush heads either!!! Each brush head shows at the tip when it's time to change it...period. ... show more

I ordered 2 of these and have had them in the past with no issues. Both units ariived last week. Neither had the initial charge that the manual says they will have and neither will charge at all. So disappointing and frustrating. I am currently trying to find what step I may be missing because what are the odds both would be malfunctioning?!?!? So far, I’m not finding any troubleshooting steps to help solve the issue. I was really hoping it was user error but no such luck. Will return next week if I can’t find the secret solution. How disappointing!! Seriously considering of I will repurchase but I’ve used a Sonicare for over 20 years! What has happened to their quality??? ... show more

    • Stopped working but Philips sent a replacement (updated)

This product stopped working exactly two years and one month after I bought it. I press the power button and it just makes a little buzzing sound but the brush head doesn’t vibrate. I have to guess that it’s designed to stop working after the 24 month warranty ends. Very expensive for something that will not last long. (Update) I submitted the warranty form on the Philips website and they sent me a replacement brush handle for free even though it was a month past the warranty expiring. So even though it’s not great that this thing breaks after just 2 years, at least I don’t have to pay for a whole new one. ... show more

Can be painful if you don’t. I like the ability to monitor my sessions on my phone and I am well pleased with the cleaning and plaque removing results. Expensive, but so are visits to the dentist and this device should reduce those visits.

My old bottom model Philips Sonicare Toothbrush just started dying on me so I jumped right on Amazon to buy another, but this time I decided to upgrade to the best of the best... I am sooo glad that I did! My mouth has never felt cleaner, and with all the different options and brush heads I can focus more on specific areas so easily.
