  • A Smart Rechargeable AA Kit That Solves the Battery Drawer Problem
Keeping a reliable stock of AA batteries on hand for game controllers, cameras, and assorted electronics is a constant management task and the Philips lithium rechargeable kit simplifies that with a four pack and an integrated storage and charging case in one unit. The Type-C charging input is a practical modern choice and the case design keeps the batteries organized and ready rather than scattered in a junk drawer. I ran these through multiple charge and discharge cycles across game controllers and digital cameras over several weeks, tracking voltage stability under heavy use loads and comparing session lengths against standard NiMH rechargeables. The constant 1.5V output throughout the discharge cycle is the standout functional advantage over traditional rechargeable batteries. NiMH cells drop voltage gradually as they discharge which causes some devices to report low battery or underperform well before the cell is truly empty. These held steady voltage longer into the cycle which translated to noticeably longer sessions per charge on game controllers specifically. The self discharge rate is genuinely low and batteries left in the case between sessions retained their charge well over two weeks without a top up. The four LED indicators on the case clearly communicated charge status at a glance without any guesswork. One important note from the listing that deserves repeating is that these are not compatible with smoke alarms or wireless doorbell cameras due to voltage matching requirements, so verify your device before buying. These batteries are a well executed upgrade for anyone who burns through disposables or is frustrated by the performance drop of aging NiMH cells. Best suited for high drain devices like game controllers, cameras, and RC toys where stable voltage throughout the cycle makes a real difference. ... show more

  • Batteries
I received these Philips rechargeable AA lithium batteries through Amazon Vine and have been using them in high-drain devices including game controllers and RC toys. The biggest advantage over traditional NiMH rechargeables is the constant 1.5V output. Devices that can be picky about battery voltage seem to perform consistently throughout the charge cycle rather than gradually losing power as the batteries drain. The included charging/storage case is a nice feature. It keeps everything organized, charges via USB-C, and makes it easy to transport spare batteries without them rolling around in a drawer or bag. The LED indicators are simple to understand and provide clear charging status information. Battery life has been impressive so far, particularly in game controllers where rechargeables often struggle to match the performance of disposable batteries. The batteries recharge relatively quickly and maintain their charge well when not in use. One thing to keep in mind is that these require the included Philips charger and are not designed for use with standard AA battery chargers. Also, as noted in the product description, they may not be suitable for devices with specific battery voltage requirements such as certain smoke detectors. Overall, this is a well-designed rechargeable battery system that offers strong performance, convenient charging, and the long-term cost savings expected from quality rechargeable batteries. ... show more

  • Work Well So Far, Though the Price Is Higher Than Some Alternatives Work Well So Far, Though the Price Is Higher Than Some Alternatives
I got these Philips rechargeable AA lithium batteries mainly because I was tired of going through disposable batteries for my Xbox controller. Philips is also a familiar brand, which made me more comfortable trying these over some of the lesser-known options. So far, they have worked well and I have not had any issues using them. My controller recognizes them normally, and they have been a convenient replacement for disposable AAs. The main downside is the price. For a four-pack, these are more expensive than some no-name rechargeable batteries that appear to offer similar specs, and in some cases cost much less. Based on the product description alone, these also seem to list fewer recharge cycles than some competitors. That said, I am hoping the Philips name means better consistency or quality control over time, though I cannot judge long-term durability yet. One small advantage is that the batteries come with a compact case. That makes them easier to store or toss in a bag compared with loose batteries. Overall, these have been reliable so far and are convenient for controller use, but the value depends on whether you prefer paying more for a familiar brand. ... show more

  • High‑Power, Long‑Lasting, Blink‑Camera‑Approved Rechargeable AA Batteries High‑Power, Long‑Lasting, Blink‑Camera‑Approved Rechargeable AA Batteries
My Blink security cameras are notoriously picky about batteries. They need something that can deliver long‑term, high‑output power, and most AA batteries simply don’t cut it. These Philips 1.5V 3600mWh rechargeable lithium batteries finally solved that problem. Using advanced Li‑ion cells, they maintain a stable 1.5V constant voltage with ultra‑high 3600mWh capacity. After fully charging, I measured all four cells — they ranged from 1.54V to 1.57V, which is excellent. Once installed in my Blink camera, it powered on instantly and showed “Battery Level: OK.” I’m still testing whether they can last over 3 months, but based on early performance, I’m optimistic. Key advantages: - Zero memory effect - Ultra‑low 3% monthly self‑discharge - Automatic recovery after deep discharge to 0V - Up to 1200 recharge cycles - No leakage issues, making them a premium replacement for alkaline batteries The included smart charging/storage box is also impressive: - Type‑C input - Works with power banks, PCs, and car chargers - Fourfold safety protection (overcharge, over‑discharge, short circuit, overheating) - LED indicators for charging status I uploaded several photos so you can judge the build quality yourself. If you use high‑drain devices like Blink cameras, Xbox controllers, flashlights, or digital cameras, these Philips lithium batteries are powerful, reliable, and absolutely worth it. ... show more

  • Long lasting. Long lasting.
Finding reliable rechargeable AA batteries can be a bit of a gamble, but this Philips lithium set is a total game-changer for everyday household gear. A lot of standard rechargeable batteries lose steam and drop their voltage as they drain, which leaves you dealing with lagging TV remotes or smart home devices that constantly drop connection. These maintain a steady, strong output the entire time they are in use, so your electronics work perfectly from the moment you put the batteries in until they actually need a recharge. The 3600mWh capacity translates to excellent, real-world longevity. They last a seriously decent amount of time in high-use items like streaming clickers and controllers, meaning you get to completely forget about them for long stretches. Even better, they do not suffer from that frustrating self-discharge issue, so if a device sits idle for a couple of weeks, it still works instantly when you pick it up. They are also built well and fit into standard battery compartments smoothly without being too bulky, which is a common flaw with cheap rechargeable wraps. Switching to these is a great way to stop throwing away endless piles of disposable alkalines while actually getting better, more dependable performance out of your everyday electronics. ... show more

  • Compact and safe
This is a great little battery and charger set. I really like how securely it holds the batteries when you're not using them, and it's way smaller than any other charger I have, which makes it a great option for travel. It opens very simply, just slide the top, and it has tons of little ridges to give a very easy grip. You don't need to charge all four batteries at the same time, as it will charge even one at a time, and if you happen to insert a battery that's not rechargeable, or that's short circuited and gone bad, the little computer senses that and doesn't dump in electricity to that one, which prevents fire or whatever would happen. And one problem with lithium ion batteries is that if they go completely dead, chargers won't recognize them and revive them, but this one will! So you won't end up throwing away a perfectly good battery just because the charger didn't know better. It charges with a USB C cable (included), which means no need to go searching for something different, And you can easily charge it even in your car. Finally, they say these batteries last longer than others. I haven't yet had a chance to test that, but I'll take their word for it. ... show more

  • Long-lasting rechargeable double A's from a name you can trust.
These batteries are good, high quality rechargeable lithium ions that I expect to last longer than most rechargeable AA batteries due to the high rating. They are expensive for just four batteries however, and lacking USB ports, require the use of an external charging hub. Not a big deal, and maybe even safer than the other kinds by coast and other manufacturers that could be a problem if they got wet. ... show more

  • Cost Effective
Here's a two-paragraph review you can use: I ordered this Philips Rechargeable AA Lithium Battery 4-Pack for use in one of my household gadgets that seems to go through a lot of AA batteries. After constantly replacing disposable batteries, I decided it was time to try a rechargeable solution, and so far these have been working great. The batteries arrived charged and ready to use, and they've been providing reliable performance in my device without any noticeable issues. My device uses two AA batteries at a time, so having a four-pack is perfect. I can keep one set in use while the other set is fully charged and ready to go, making battery swaps quick and convenient. The lithium batteries seem to hold their charge well, and the rechargeability should save quite a bit of money over time compared to constantly buying disposables. Overall, these have been a practical and cost-effective upgrade for a battery-hungry device. ... show more
