Each step is broken down clearly: prep, attachment choice, strength level, and treatment technique. The visuals make it very easy to follow, even if you’ve never used an IPL device before. Once I used the app, the process felt straightforward and controlled. Treatment: This device uses multiple strength levels so you can work up gradually. I worked up to level 2, and there was no pain at all with each zap. The sensation was very mild—more warmth than anything uncomfortable. One feature I really like is the built-in safety system: The laser must be flush against the skin to activate. You get a clear “ready” indicator when the device is positioned correctly. If it’s not flush, it simply won’t zap. This is a great safety feature and removes a lot of guesswork. You always know when it’s safe to treat the area. Results so far (after two sessions): I’ve completed two sessions, spaced two weeks apart, and I’m already seeing changes. Hair growth is noticeably slower. The media could not be loaded. I’ve been using this device consistently for a few weeks and I’m really impressed with the results so far. The device is easy to use, and the instructions are clear, which made the process straightforward from the start. I like that it automatically adjusts the intensity based on skin tone, which makes it feel safer and more comfortable. After several sessions, I noticed slower hair regrowth and smoother skin. One thing to keep in mind is that results take time and consistency, so it’s not an instant solution.     • Easy to use, with clear steps to take away the anxiety

I was pleasantly surprised by how incredibly easy it was to use this IPL hair removal device from Philips Lumea! I don't have a ton of free time as a mom of 6 kids, so having something that is quick, easy, and fits in my routine is a must. This checks all those boxes. Additionally, it didn't hurt! I was super worried that this would be painful (like it feels most hair removal methods can be) but it was not painful in the slightest. My biggest qualm was needing to plan accordingly to not wear deodorant for 24 hours after performing the hair removal treatment, but that's pretty standard across the board. The instructions are super thorough and really make this so its impossible to do incorrectly. I love that as it took away all the nerves associated with this since I am far from a professional. I also really liked that the attachments had a small photo that depicted which area each attachment was for. Again, it does a great job of removing the guess work. A couple very small things that would make it even better: 1.) Give the case a handle. I thought that it had a handle, but it was just a fabric hinge and it really threw me through a loop. 2.) A small cord organizer would be amazing for keeping it easy to put away after youre done. Sometimes the cord can be a little rambunctious and make it a bit more difficult to put the top back on.
