The product can be difficult to set up to begin with. The subwoofer is a pain to deal with, it occasionally loses connection so you have to keep setting that up. Now it’s been a little over a year since I bought it, but I just realized that the subwoofer is basically dead. No power goes to it making it just useless. I don’t really spend all that much time in the room where I have this set up so I just noticed the issue but, looking at other reviews, I have no doubt that it’s been like that for a while. ... show more

I’m disappointed in this sound bar. The sound from the sound bar is great but I have an echo because if I turn the tv volume too low, the sound bar doesn’t pick up the output and turns off. I could never sync it with my other remote so I have to use 2 remotes and this remote is garbage. 5 ft range. I ordered this Philips surround sound for my 75 in Philips television. First red flag Packaging came damaged box was falling out of the Amazon prime box that it was delivered in. Second red flag is that the box for the surround sound itself looked as if it retaped up. so I'm already thinking that I'm getting a refurbished or a return. Third red flag when I plug the surround sound up nothing's happening the subwoofer will not connect to the sound bar. Subwoofer itself has no power. And without the subwoofer soundbar sounds worse than the TV itself. So that was my experience ... show more

It is fairly obvious that this was a new unit that had been previously returned because it was not working, and then it was resold to me. Shame on them for not doing their diligence in testing the unit before selling it again.

This thing is a pain in the rear to pair the pointlessly wireless subwoofer. Once you do get it paired, it occasionally drops connection and the soundbar some days will just decide it wants to shut off 10 times in a row because some genious wanted to over complicate things by adding a idol off, that doesn't even work properly. Good sound. Garbage software. What an absolite waste of resources. (Edit- the subwoofer is now broken. No power at all. This thing is absolute junk.) ... show more

No matter what I do, no matter how many times I put the thing into discovery mode, it WILL NOT connect to the subwoofer. I've watched YouTube videos, read the manual, searched the forums, nothing. It's defective. Absolutely NOT recommended.
