Wife has menopause. Thought I would help with the hot flashes and get some new "cooling" pillows. I had hoped that these got passed the known issue for memory foam of compressing and then being warm since air doesn't move through the compacted memory foam. This is why a lot of mattress toppers have egg crate style to them. Ordered them and was disappointed. If you just put hands on both sides and push them together, you can feel air move...so I was hopeful. However, when I put a pillowcase on it, then put in on the bed, then laid my head on it sideways...no coolness existed, and my head got warm. Even moving my head as if I was sleeping, my head and neck would heat up where the contact was being made. So, maybe if you only sleep on your back, these would be fine. I don't and she doesn't. The pillows expanded so much that returning them was going to be a challenge so I gave them to my grown kids. Hope this reality check helps you. (I got two brands to try them both and the results were the same)

I do NOT sleep well. I was hoping this pillow would help, it didn't but it is very comfortable compared to most. It is not a soft, mushy fall into a pile of fluff kind of pillow nor is it a dense foam that will barely move. It is a medium weight type of memory foam that has good springy give so you sink into it to a degree. It is very comfortable, you won't be disappointed in that. I am used to having a contour memory foam pillow and my current one is similar to the foam used in this one so it was not a big jump for me. However, if you are not using something in line with this type of pillow I am sure you will absolutely LOVE this one. The foam has the ventilation holes to keep you cooler and I really like that it is purple even thought you don't see it. Try it out, hopefully it will help you sleep better. At least it will be one of the most comfortable pillows you will ever own.

A couple years ago I began to have neck issues. Getting old sucks. I spent too much trying to find the right pillow and ended up with one of those contour pillows, which was nice, but I sleep hot, and you can't just flip the pillow because the contour is only on one side. This pillow still gets warm, but you can flip it. I've had for about a month, and I haven't needed to go to the chiropractor. I would buy again.

So far, they seem to be decently cooling. They are not the highest quality, but I got them as replacements for my old cooling pillows. They are a little flatter than I would like, but hopefully you can stack them. They keep their shape nicely and are not too soft and not too hard.

I like a firm pillow. But this is the hardest thing I have experienced since viagra. Seriously though, it comes in a vacuum seal bag all shrunk up. Take it out and it fluffs up instantly. I have had it a week now and have been unable to fall asleep with it even though I have tried several times. I am hoping that it will eventually soften up some.

I found a different pillow on Amazon that is made the exact same Way so I was hoping this would be a great replacement. for reference, I’m a side or (mostly) belly sleeper who loves flat pillows. I got the set of 2. I sought out the large vent holes and memory foam, but these pillows are much stiffer than I prefer, almost like styrofoam in a way. I’m keeping them because it’s still a great deal. I’m just going to continue my hunt for the perfect pillow

I have had difficulty finding pillows and have tried so many different kinds. My friends daughter bought one and I tried it then came home and bought it myself. It is just slightly higher than I would like but my sleep has improved significantly. It stays decently cool and it although pretty sturdy it does relax with your head. I do really like it.
