Description

The Phanteks Evolv Shift XT is a truly unique small form-factor chassis that extends to tailor the cooling performance to your need. Even in its ultra- compact mode there is no compromise on performance with support for powerful hardware such as 324mm long triple-slot GPUs and 72mm tall CPU air coolers. The Evolv Shift XT has the unique capability to extend the height of the chassis to boost the air-cooling performance with two 120 or 140 fans at the top. When fully extended the Evolv Shift XT can house a 240 radiator in the top to cool even the most powerful systems. Being part of the Phanteks Evolv series, the Evolv Shift XT offer premium build quality and components using thick anodized aluminum panels, PCI-e X16 Gen4 riser cable and USB-C Gen2 front IO. Performance is uncompromised with Ultra-Fine Mesh panels and vented aluminum panels while providing a clean and stylish appearance with the tempered glass infinity mirror. Phanteks Evolv Shift XT feature highlights: Unique small form-factor chassis that extends into 3 sizes With the unique capability to extend the chassis size you can tailor the cooling performance to your need. In its most Compact Size, the Evolv Shift XT can still house powerful systems with 324mm long 3-slot GPUs and 72mm tall CPU coolers that have direct access to fresh air. By extending the height of the chassis in ‘Air Boost’ or ‘Liquid Cooled’ mode, the height is increased by 32 or 60mm respectively. This allows for either 2x 120/140mm fans or a 240 AIO liquid cooler to be installed for the best possible performance. Full Size GPU Support with Gen4 Riser Cable Being a compact SFF chassis does not mean you have to compromise on gaming performance. The Evolv Shift XT has a built-in Gen4 X16 Riser Cable and supports up to 324mm long 3-slot GPUs. The Ultra-fine Mesh panels provide direct fresh air to the GPU cooler for optimum cooling performance. Premium Aluminum Exterior and Tempered Glass Infinity Mirror With its iconic design known from the Phanteks Evolv Series, the Evolv Shift XT is made to stand apart wherever you place it. Its 2.5mm thick aluminum exterior panels are crafted and finished with high precision to combine great airflow performance with a premium appearance. The tempered glass front panel houses a D-RGB Infinity Mirror that is revealed even more as you extend the Evolv Shift XT chassis height.

  • Unique case
Color: Silver
I had my eye on this case for quite a while for my sim-racing rig. Probably one of the most unique ITX cases on the market in that it can expand to different cooling needs. For my build I went with Phanteks' own Glacier One T30 Gen 2 AIO which fit like a glove. This was my first time building an ITX form factor pc. Cable management definitely needs to be considered with this type of build to ensure good airflow. But I enjoyed the challenge and found it immensely satisfying with how clean everything looked once the cables were tucked away. Haven't noticed any significant cooling issues either with a 7800X3D & Sapphire Pulse 7900XTX -- cpu idles at 42C and peaks at 82C. Perfectly acceptable numbers for this processor. I would highly advise reading the clearances specified in the manual for things like GPU, AIO, etc. My AIO fit with 1mm of clearance at the top and most of the GPU's I was considering were too long or wide. The GPU I chose was a perfect fit (2.7 slots wide, 3 is is the absolute MAX supported!). The quality on this case is top notch as well. All of the metal is thick and there is zero flex anywhere. The lights are a neat touch but I turned them off to keep things stealth. It's still very cool looking either way. ... show more

  • Very poor airflow but overall nice
Color: Silver
Case is aesthetically nice but beware of poor airflow so your system may run hotter. For those who say that the case top just sits there with a liquid cooler, they did not read instructions. There are latches that secure the top and it stays connected and solid.

  • An Absolute fun build!
Color: Black
I've always wanted to do a SFF build, and when I saw this case I decided this was the time! I was somewhat intimidated when it arrived, but after watching a couple youtube videos it was surprisingly straight forward. I still couldn't believe that my 3080 card was going to fit, but fit it did and with room to spare. My biggest issue was not with the case, but ordering the correct parts. I had trouble finding the right motherboard (some claim on amazon to be mini itx, but are definitely not). I was also worried about temps with how compact it is (I have mine set up in Air plus mode with extra fans), but temps never got too high and there was rarely a lot of fan noise! I installed the Noctua NH-L9i which was a perfect fit. Plus, the case has proper ventilation on all sides. If wanting to build an SFF system, I highly recommend this case. ... show more

  • Incredible itx case
Color: Black
This is my fourth SSFF build I've done, and the evolv shift is probably my favorite. It's expensive, but a joy to build in where most SFF cases are a nightmare. After testing watercooling, I decided to stick with air cooling. Thermal performance is wonderful, no throttling on a 3090 and 13600k, I did mount a single 120mm fan up top to exhaust. ... show more

  • Quality Case - Has AIO Limitations
Color: Black
The case is quite nice. All metal construction. RGB panel on the front is pretty cool. The only issue is that when using a 240mm AIO, the top of the case just kind of lays on the frame and will no longer lock into place, kind of a strange engineering fail. The Phanteks 240MPH RGB AIO is a great cooler but will require a little tweaking for use in this case, I had to buy 3 inch bolts that I had to cut down and add 5 washers to each bolt (the config was bolt+washer+case hole+2 washers+halo+2 washers+fan+radiator). The add on halos bend and interfered with the fans under heavy work load without the additional washers to straighten them out. An AIO with integrated RGB in the fans and not separate parts or buy the 240MP non RGB model and then replace the fans with ones that have integrated RGB will save you some hassle. ... show more

  • Lovin' this little case
Color: Black
I've been trying to scale back in life and minimize as much as possible to really reduce the clutter and focus on the important things, and yes that even includes my PC. But I still wanna built it with the parts I want, without having to skimp on performance. This case allows me to do just that. I have mine packed with plenty of power (Ryzen 5900, 33GB ram, 2x 1TB SSDs and NVidia 3080Ti) and it was easy to do. The case is well laid-out and with the included instructions, it was easy to get it all in such a small format factor case. And the transforming way it expands to allow for a 240 rad to keep you system cool is just awesome. With such clean lines, plenty of power and all in such a small package, I intend to be using this for many years to come. ... show more

  • It's a very tight squeeze
Color: Silver
The look of this case is phenomenal. They did such an amazing job designing this beast, and while it is tough to get everything situated inside the results are well worth the effort. Some things to note: 3xxx series gpu's have offset pcu connectors. Do some research and find one with a middle mount pcu, as gpus with connectors on the ends make it VERY difficult to get the radiator cover to close. I had to brute force the cables on my 3080ti to a 90* angle which is less than ideal. Regardless it works. There are 90* pcu connectors that can be attached but they do not leave room between the separation plate in the middle of the case. Hopefully they remodel this design in the future to account for the gpu connector differences so it's more user friendly. Still well worth all the trouble! ... show more

  • Excellent case, but prepare for some heat.
Color: Black
I love this case. Being an ITX case, it will run HOT! I opted to leave the air filter screens off, for better airflow. I also removed the plastic infinity mirror from the front, and replaced it with a 5.5" LCD screen. I use it to display temps, fan RPM's, etc. - Be warned - If you are going to water cool, the power cables on some video cards will interfere with the water lines and/or fans. I had to put a metal fan screen on one of the fans to keep the power cables on my EVGA 3080-Ti FTW3 from digging into the fans. I have ordered some 90 degree power adapters in hope of fixing that issue. Here is what else I have on my build: Asus Strix Z690-I board with an overclocked Intel i7 12700K CPU cooled via 240mm Evolv Glacier One AIO. 32GB DDR5 5200 dual channel RAM. Samsung 980 Pro 2 TB NVMe SSD for OS and Apps. Kingston 2TB NVMe SSD for data. EVGA 3080Ti FTW3 graphics card, all powered by a Phanteks Revolt SFX 750W Platinum rated PSU. ... show more
