When I used superglue to attach the caps, unfortunately, the glue caused a reaction with the glass, turning it a cloudy white which defeated the purpose (see pictures). I researched some other glues but could not find one that specifically said it could be used on glass. Because of the timeframe for the project I was using them for, I didn't have a lot of extra time to find and experiment until I had a glue that could work. All of the glass globes were intact when I received them. They are cute and the perfect size (the size of a pea) and the opening is large enough to fit what I wanted to fit in them, and the flower caps are quite pretty. Unfortunately, I could not use them because of the transparency issue. :( I rated the product a 1 because of the clouding, and because there is no indication or warning anywhere that superglue will cause this problem, and no glue is recommended that will not cause this. If not for this issue, I would have rated them 5 stars. If anyone has successfully glued these, please post the type of glue you used so that it will help others. ------ The picture from left to right: globe #1 - an example of the glass globe as I received it globes #2,3,4 - my various attempts applying the superglue to the cap in various ways and quantities globe #5 - in this one, I applied a very, very tiny amount of glue to just the rim around the hole, but the cloudiness fogged up a good portion of the globe below the rim, even though the glue had not actually touched it there. ... show more

I made “clutter” necklaces for gifts this season and each includes one of these. Of all the things on those necklaces, this has been the one everyone liked best. I half-filled them with seed beads and tiny star sequins. The holes vary, so that can be a factor. I used Gorilla glue to bond them together and it’s a solid bond but it was a challenge. I wish I could have ordered only silver tops! But I plan to spray the gold ones with black enamel and use them anyway. ... show more

I ordered these twice, both times they arrived in perfect condition. The first was in a small box with reinforced sides, with no damage to the glass within. The second was in a plastic jar, with foam padding inside. Again, nothing broken. The glass balls are of good quality, are uniform in size, and the measurements on the listing are accurate. The caps are made of a lightweight metal. All in all, this was a good purchase. Whatever problems they had in the past with the globes breaking in transit, they seem to have addressed. ... show more

Low quality but packaged very nicely, only 1 of mine arrived cracked (see pictures). The quality of this glass is very low, It's a little cloudy, there are sharp edges lining the rim of the hole, and lumps and bubbles in many of the orbs. The caps are plastic, not metal, and the paint is already wearing off. For the price I paid I would have expected higher quality, but the only thing nice about these, sadly, is the packaging. ... show more

I was disappointed. From the pictures I thought they came together. I did not know I needed specific glue to hold them together. Secondly they are glass and some arrived broken. The seller gave me back a full refund so I am happy. If you have the glue and the patience they are beautiful.

I purchased these to make cute pendants and they come with the bail pins so it was perfect. Well packaged in bubble wrap and then placed inside a large plastic container. I'd buy again as you can make so many fun projects with these. Try them in wedding decor, water candles, holiday ornaments, cute little earings, you imagine it and create it as you like. :) ... show more

Absolutely horrible. I should have heeded all the reviews about these arriving broken. Not ONE came without cracks throughout them rendering them useless. They came packed in a plastic box with bubble wrap which means they were probably broken before they were packed. Waste of money.

Looooove these by far!! The seller went to great lengths to protect them by wrapping layers of bubble wrap and put the beads bagged in a plastic container. Will definitely be ordering these again soon!!
