Very happy with this item. Great deal, great delivery and a quality product. While I considered buying direct from company, I am glad I bought from Amazon due to knowing I will get it when expected and that I am protected if anything is wrong. But so far, thus unit has been excellent and well worth the money. My biggest use is for acrylic, so perhaps there could be issues working with other materials, but for acrylic, I couldn't be happier! I did, however, put in a stronger exhaust blower per recommendation before I ever used it, so would be nice if didn't need to upgrade that - but still deserves 5 stars!

As someone new to CO₂ laser technology, I initially found the setup process quite challenging. My primary goal was to cut acrylic, but I quickly realized I had a lot to learn. Fortunately, OMTech's customer service was exceptional—they provided clear answers to my questions and ensured I felt supported throughout the process. One standout moment was the video consultation with a technician, who patiently guided me through the alignment procedure. That hands-on walkthrough completely clarified what had seemed so confusing at first, and I was able to properly align the laser with confidence. Having transitioned from a diode laser to a CO₂ system, I couldn’t be happier with the upgrade. The machine performs beautifully, and I’m excited to explore its full potential as I continue growing in this craft.

UPDATED REVIEW AS OF SEPT 29th If I could give 0 stars I would. August 31st I purchased this laser cutter for $762.99 Right off the bat I had issues. The water pump had faulty screw threading. I contacted customer support and they agreed to send me a replacement pump after I sent photos and videos of the faulty pump. I waited almost 2 weeks for the replacement. After receiving the replacement the water safety sensor was still giving a code. The new water pump was not pumping water through the machine. I called customer support to speak to a technician on Sept 16th. They did not listen when I said the water pump is vibrating as it’s on but it’s not pumping water. They had me take apart the machine and check the water sensor. I told them again the water is not circulating through the machine. The tech told me to disable the water safety sensor. DANGEROUS ADVICE as the sensor is working correctly. The tech then told me they’d send a new hose and safety sensor… which is pointless when the pump itself is not pumping the water through the machine. From sept 16th to today Sept 29th I have sent customer support countless photos and videos of the entire machine and the water pump. They still fail to address the issue. And this machine remains unusable. Do yourself a favor and order from a different brand. I am incredibly disappointed with this brand, customer support, and the machine itself. $700 piece of equipment I can’t use. Came with faulty water pump. The threads are faulty so it cannot be properly assembled to allow functional water flow. Could I purchase a pump? Probably. But for $700 I’d expect better.
