The media could not be loaded. I used these dishes during the holiday season for dinners with friends. They're very elegant and beautiful. I love the all white. It makes it so easy to match decor with, and also mix and match other dishes if desired. The embossing is clear and well done. The print is generic and again will fit in with most other dishes and decor. I love that these are thin and elegant feeling and looking, while still being sturdy. The Pfaltzgraff Esmerlda (Esmeralda?) dinnerware set is beautiful and well-made. It is a large set of service for 8, which is nice for a family or when you have company over for dinner. They have a nice raised pattern on them. The measurements they show in the product description are about right. I measured the salad plate at 7.5 inches instead of the 8 inches they stated. The salad plates seem a bit small. The bowls are very large and deep. The color is listed as white, but I would say it is almost a cream color. I have another similar white set by another brand that is a brighter white. This is a very nice set that I would be proud to use when I have dinner guests over. ... show more

These plates are exactly what you’d expect from the high quality tableware company Pfaltzgraff. The plates are a lovely off white with beautiful scroll work along the rim of the plates and sides of the bowls. They are a nice weight, not overly heavy and not too light either. We have washed them dozens of times in the dishwasher and the scrollwork and edges of the plates are pristine. No chips or damage to be found. We absolutely love this tableware set! ... show more

This Pfaltzgraff dinnerware set is top quality. The bowls are a nicely round design that hold 23 ounces. They make good bowls for individual servings of stew, soup, salad or whatever you would like to serve. They are also large enough to be used as serving bowls for side dishes, breads, or other foods. The design is well done and stands out on each piece of the dinnerware set. The white color of this quality set allows it to be used year around for special occasions or for everyday use. you may use this dinnerware set any time. I like being able to serve my family salads and soups in the bowls. It is nice to have matching tableware. Comes with 8 each of big plate, small plate, and bowl. I like that they left out the mugs since I don't drink hot beverages often. Everything nestles well to save space in the cabinet.
