Love them, but…
Very well made, colors are stunning! However, after the first dish washer cycle I noticed some of the paint had gone off on the dish rim. They chip easily so, I recommend not to stack them without placing something in between.

Pretty happy with the purchase
Update as of 12/5/20: I'm on this page contemplating buying another set because of how much I love these dishes. Unfortunately, I recently bought a house with a pretty small kitchen and don't think I have room for another set. I figured I would give an update while I was here. These dishes still look 100% brand new. I use them daily and have not had any issues. I still love the fact that the set did not come with mugs and I have quickly fallen in love with the pasta bowls. The pasta bowls are so nice to have, every dinnerware set should come with them. In fact, I'm mainly contemplating buying a secondary set, not because I get a lot of visitors where I need more than a set of four, but because I want to make sure I have backups in case I might break one of the pasta bowls some time in the future. There aren't many (or any?) other dinnerware sets that come with this size dish and I would be really sad if I waited and decided not to purchase backups. I might have just convinced myself to buy the extra set as I was typing this. Update as of 7/12/20: I love these dishes! The longer I have them, the more I love them. I use the pasta bowls for almost everything. I don’t know why more dinnerware sets don’t come with that size dish. The colors have really grown on me. They are super sturdy and I have no had an issue with them at all. I definitely recommend buying them. As this seems to be a brand new product, there were no reviews on this dinnerware set when I purchased it, so I really took a chance. I had no knowledge of the brand, but they seem to have been around a long time. What originally drew me to these dishes was that they didn’t come with any mugs. I don’t drink anything hot, so I never use mugs. They usually just get stored in my cabinet for visitors. I also liked that these dishes appeared to be grey and teal in colors, which goes with my home. However, it was hard to be sure that the pictures are accurate. The exterior of the dishes could have been black or grey, maybe even brown. Happy to say that these dishes are fairly true to the pictures. The exterior dark color is a lot lighter than in the pictures. A more charcoal grey than black, for sure. The interior is pretty true, though not as sparkly as the pictures looked. But I’m okay with it. I tried to take pictures that are true to the colors. There is one flaw in the dishes that I noticed. One of my pasta bowls is missing some of the glaze on the edge. It’s fairly noticeable, but not enough for me to go through the hassle of returning it. I just wish the company had noticed it before shipping it out. Overall, these dishes appear to be of very good quality. I haven’t used them yet, but if any issues pop up in the foreseeable future, I will be sure to update the review.

Quality ok, but still returning
The feel, texture and quality were what we are looking for, but we were disappointed with the outer matte color, which was sort of drab dark brown grey. If the inner glazed teal color had lined the rims, it would have helped. And the great extra texture design on the teal side of the plate should have also been on the bowls. Also, some of the expected blemishes that come with this sort of stoneware were on the solid colored outside, so they were very obvious and not appealing. We are returning and going back to searching. Plates are definitely something that one needs to physically see and touch before deciding....

Follow up to previous review
Dinner plate broke while cooking in the microwave, plate cracked right in 2 pieces after only 3 minutes while heating up spaghetti. I will not rely on their claim of being microwave safe.

One of the Smaller Bowls arrived broken.
One of the smaller bowls arrived broken. I wish I could get a replacement without returning the entire set to do it. Otherwise I like the set.

All the hunnies (and even some men) be complimenting my dinnerwares
A girl saw my shallow bowls and thought they were really cool. Another girl asked me where I got these plates from. A dude at work said my plate looked cool.
