When I first bought it the tires were flat. So I towed it to the gas station and I couldn't tell it was behind me cuz it was so quiet. But as soon as I put air in the tires it started rattling. But that's how I know it's behind me. When you put stuff in it though it weighs it down and it's really quiet. I'm happy with the value of this trailer. Lots of functionality for a low price. It rattles a lot and the axle adjustment is rough but these can be solved easily with a few scrap parts. Along with this trailer, find 4x 7/16" flat washers and 4x 1/2 flat washers to make the axle nut adjustment correct - stack small on big on each side of the axle against the washer. To address the rattling, felt furniture pads work great for flat surface areas, and old bike tires cut into small 'shims' work well for round parts. The various pins that come with the trailer fit well and are snug, so they don't rattle. The last source of rattling is in the sprung neck of the trailer, which can be solved with more bike tire shimming - just leave enough extending out so you can remove it for maintenance if necessary. There is a 10 page manual that is missing page 3 (see photo). And the quick release “fixed” pins are too small (see photo). Other than those issues, the product is well made and should do the job I bought it for nicely. Just frustrating that there are any issues at all.

I've had several bike trailers in the past. This cargo bike trailer is the best quality trailer for the price. Just be careful of overloading as it becomes top heavy and may flip over.
