  • Nice trailer.
As noted by others the instructions are very terse. Assembly however is very straight forward, had it together in about 45 minutes including the "figuring it out" factor. Of note, the seat post on my mountain bike is thicker than the trailer hitch was meant for and it was somewhat difficult to get both bolts started because of the length of the bolts too short by a couple millimeters. Had to omit the lock washer on one bolt to have enough thread to get the other bolt started. The trailer tongue clears the bike rack perfectly so I can keep the saddle bags on the bike in addition to the trailer. Construction of all components is solid, it was well packaged, and the paint and finish is nice. Overall a very well thought out piece of equipment. Aired the tires to 30 lbs last night to let them stretch out a little before pumping up to the full 36 lb psi. This a.m. the tires were at 20 lbs psi. May need some inner tube stop leak, will see. Took it for first test run, couple of miles down the road with a small load and I hardly knew it was behind me. So far I'm REALLY liking this trailer. I plan on ham radio bike expeditions and fishing trips and this truly beats the heck out of stacked milk crates on the bike rack! Just have to remember to swing a little wider around turns and be careful on narrow paths. This will be my o-fish-all fishing and and ham radio field day main mode of transportation! ... show more

  • Great wagon for the beach!
Great wagon for the beach! We got a lot of stuff strapped on and it went through the sand easily. Deep sand was a little more trying with it loaded but still good.

  • Solid frame! Questionable cart bottom and tow hitch components.
Just put together, very intuitive, not difficult assembly. Frame and wheel assembly seems very sturdy. Only concern is for the durability of the thin plastic cart bottom. Will likely need to replace later (probably soon) with a wood or metal sheet. Also, didn’t come with any rubber/plastic components to protect and stabilize the interface of the tow hitch assembly to the bike seat post. If assembled without, cart attachment moves around and slides up and down the seat post. ... show more

  • Works.
Works nicely once you figure it out. On my first use, had an incident at the tow bar attachment at the cart itself. Nothing a little rope couldn't fix, but not being near home made it an issue. Bought some pipe clamps which can be finger tightened anywhere I am with the trailer and the problem was resolved. This trailer is nice because it is collapsible and light enough to carry to wherever you want to store it. The wheels detach easily, but reattaching them takes a couple of minutes because the washer nuts have to be aligned into a groove. Overall I am happy with this purchase. ... show more

  • Great for toting your canine buddy!
Was a little hesitate on this purchase because I usually don't buy items off amazon this pricey & more of a DYI guy...but man is this thing AWESOME! When I was looking around I didn't like the typical dog carriers because the 'enclosure' idea due seemed like heat trouble & lack of view for my boy 'Hoops' was discouraged - rigging this up seemed like an alternative to those cons. With a few additions after assembly the dream was achieved, now my 13yr old bud and I have cracked up a lot of people in the neighborhood. (especially when I turn on the rope lights tied along the trailer frame on at night hehe) I've had the trailer for two months now so figured that was long enough to form a decent opinion. The product itself: - Putting together was mostly smooth, instructions could have been a little clearer but if you're comfortable with tools you'll be fine [hex bolt alert - go get the bit to speed things up] - When securing the 'spring axles' for tires do not overexert! I did, snapped the clip, and impaled my hand with exposed end. But now I've got a cool hand scar so...yeah sure go for it! (kidding.) - When you fasten attachment 'clip' to bike make sure the red button isn't pressed against the bottom of your seat, this can release the connection and leave the trailer behind.....not that I know what that's like or anything... - Another note on attachment: How high your bike seat is will determine the slope in the trailer 'bed.' Since my cruiser bike is on the lower side, the bed leans forward - but with my travel bike it's level since the seat is higher (really just an aside for pet's comfort in travel haha) - The 'weak point' of the assembly is the bottom nut that fastens the attachment arm to trailer body beneath the trailer bed. Go ahead and replace the bolt they give you with a longer thread, that's what I ended up having to do because I wore through the 'stock' one in about a month. - As for driving, don't get overconfident from onlookers and bank too hard around a corner. The location of attachment arm presents the opportunity for trailer to flip and dump out items in such a situation...not that I know what that's like or anything... Otherwise this is a great purchase! :) Just go ahead and get it if you have an remote interest haha ... show more

  • Poor quality, but works
There seems to be scarce options for this type of bike trailers. This particular one is not of high quality: reflectors don't mount properly, pieces don't align well, the Plexiglas base is not robust, the connector to the bike is just a spring, etc etc... But it will get the job done if the load is something along the lines of carrying groceries from the store. ... show more

  • Tandem Axle Heavy Haul Trailer
The seatpost mounted tow hitch model and the old axle mount hitch version have the same frame, and are easily modified to fit back to back. The rear gate of one can cut and drills to function as a mechanical link between both units. It is stable and does well to about 250 lbs. With a load of 400 lbs of lumber, the unit did not want to turn easily. The drawbar needs to be lengthened with an additional 10° upswing in hitch angle to perfectly match up a 700c. The unit is remarkably stable at 35 mph descending 6% gradient at 180 lbs. Of camping gear, as properly adjusted bicycle brakes can handle the weight. Average speed on the flat will be 9 or 10mph on average. With full wood sides and stakes the unit has a tare of about 80 lbs. Not for the casual trip to the market. I've put 6,000 miles on a single, and they need wood sides to keep grocery bags out of the spokes. ... show more
