I flew with 2 lion head rabbits (2.5lbs each) in this carrier (which was a little snug for them but it worked out), during a layover I expanded the bag so that they could stretch out and observe their surroundings. This bag attracts attention and you will get complimented on it. During the flight I was also able to expand one side of the carrier out which provided my buns with more space. I like that the bottom is detachable so I wrapped a pee pad on the bottom. I only wish there were more openings for the pet to see outside when the bag is not expanded. This bag is sturdy and attractive. And one of the few available that still conform to the airline’s shrinking dimensions for pet cabin travel. I loved that the mesh was breathable, the pad cushy, and it completely separates for storage. I love this bag for my 2 mini dachshunds. The only problem I have is that the parts that expands take up to much room on the inside when they are closed up. I used Velcro to keep the sides up away from the puppies. It looks great and we get so many compliments from people.

Love it but I have a 5 lb Morkie and he JUST fits in it without expansion sides opened up. Only good for small, small dogs. It just barely fits in the "kid's seat" of a shopping cart so I can sneak him in a store with me and it looks like a large purse.
