This is a very well made pet carrier for either a small dog (<15 lbs.) or cat. It is light weight and collapses into a brief case size folded down pet carrier. This item is convenient for those who may have varied traveling arrangements and bring their pet along with them. This is the main reason I purchased this product; I am a cyclist who travels with my pet and sometimes use Public transportation for short cuts. Pets on Public transportation as a rule, need to be in an enclosed carrier like Petsfit products have. Since it collapses down into a smaller item, it can then be placed into a larger back pack which can be carried on my back and when the carrier is needed it is quickly assembled and my pet is placed into the carrier when Public Transportation is required. It also has the option to be safely secured to an adjustable handled and wheeled luggage by a couple of zippers located on the back of the carrier after they are opened and then can be slid down into the back of it. This product can also can be safely secured with a seatbelt in a car when transporting the pet in a vehicle. It has three well ventilated windows for the pet and comes with a well made shoulder strap that can be attached to the carrier and carried like a tote. I have been using this carrier for about two years now and I am just now starting to see wear on it. It fits great under the seat on Allegiant flights, however there is not much remaining room for your feet. There is a pocket on one end to place items for your cat such as food or treats. There is also two zippers on the long side that you can unzip and slide onto a roller suitcase handle. I have not used this but I keep one zippered and use it as an extra pocket. The only issue is it got stuck going into the X-ray machine and the TSA agents had to pull it out and put it in manually, but this has only happened once. I think it got stuck since it’s so light. The liners are removable and washable. It cleans easily. My cat is on the larger side and she fits comfortably in this carrier. When not in use it unzips to almost flat for easy storage. It fits perfectly under the plane seats even for southwest airlines which has unusually small pet carrier size parameters. Like I said it's a little flimsy but it works pretty well and sometimes the flexibility helps it work better for different things. For example it's extremely packable. However one thing to note is the little leash thing breaks fairly easily, however to be fair my dog was very excited to see his original mom and dad again. ... show more

This is a great carrier! The fact that you can turn it on its side to fit under the seat was brilliant. Our 11-pound Cavalier King Charles Spaniel was so comfortable that she slept through the entire flight! We have only taken the carrier on Southwest Airlines, but the carrier fit perfectly under the seat with a bit of room to spare. My only complaint, and why I only gave 4 stars, is the interior tether was really short. We had to clip a seatbelt tether to it to add enough length for our dog to be comfortable. Without the added length, she couldn't stand up and she couldn't lie down unless she was backward in the carrier. Considering the carrier is otherwise pretty awesome and well thought out, it was a weird design flaw. Perhaps our carrier tether was cut incorrectly or something of that nature. It was a pretty easy fix, so not a big deal in my opinion. Just so you know, the zippered pocket on the side, is just one pocket with two zippers. It was also kind of weird, but again, not a big deal for us. The carrier is really sturdy and does not sag under our dog's weight. The ends don't collapse when they are unzipped either. The shoulder strapped was a very welcome addition too, as it made carrying our dog through the airport much easier. We had to get something very small because the plane required no higher than 9”. This carrier accommodated that. It had pads on two sides so you can get the carrier under the plane seat. Yes the animal had to lay down, well sorta, bc the critter can smash its face into the mesh to get closer to you, it will flex enough so the pet can stand. My girls traveled well. We were lucky. We could put the carrier on our lap and zip open the top so they could look around. Warning to anyone flying. Planes are super small and tight. If you are a large person you will not be able to fit you and the pet into the spot. I really don’t know why we couldn’t buy a seat for them. They charged us an extra 50 to bring them on but they didn’t get their own seat. ... show more

    • Dog busted zipper on first flight!

We ordered in March 2023 to prepare for a recurring travel by flight to and from our new vacation home with our new puppy. We wanted to get the dog comfortable with the carrier and did many practice trips in home, car, and even to the airport (without boarding). On the first flight use (6-30-23, long after return window) the dog busted out of the carrier by causing one the zippers to go off track. The zipper has no way to get back on track for closing one of the openings. I gave it 3 stars anyway because I loved how the bag stood tall (my minidoodle has long legs) but also had padding to lay on its side when under the plane seat. I also liked the zipper openings that allowed a spinner wheel base (which we bought) and/or a telescoping handle from our luggage for easy transportation through the airport. This is the best pet carrier, because of the 2 diferent size sides. While not on the plane, you can let your pet sit on the smaller side this way they can comfortably sit up, stand and look outside, because of the bigger side. In the planes, the height of the space under the seat in front of you is smaller nowadays then before, 9-10 inches. This pet carrier is perfect! The 9 inch tall bag fits perfectly under the seat in front. And your pet will be comfortable on the bigger side. It will be awesome if you guys could add removable platform with wheels and handle! ... show more

This was the largest size I could buy which satisfied the airlines requirements. My dog fit in it comfortably however his legs are a big long and so he felt more comfortable poking his heading out hence why in the photo his head is out. To give you an idea for your own dog, mine is about 14 pounds! We were able to set the bag on top of our suitcase which was nice. Once both sided are zipped it’s sturdy enough however once both sided are unzipped the bag does not stay upright on it’s own. Which was perfectly find for us because we only ever opened the top for his head. Definitely recommend this product. ... show more
