Recently needed a carrier that fit the airline (Hawaiian Airlines) requirement. This fit the bill for in cabin use. It’s pretty durable, and I like that there was extra room for my cat to lay out when the side panels were down. The Sherpa side was the preferred method for travel from what it seemed like for my cat. All in all, I was happy with the purchase. If you have a thicccc kitty, you may consider a different carrier/ airline. Hawaiian Airlines was fairly strict with the in cabin sizing.

I have a 12lb shihpoo, I ordered the small and it was way too tiny. I ordered the next size up and it seems to be a better match. We are flying to Hawaii soon so hopefully we have no issues with the plane and size! It’s smaller than a duffel bag I would normally bring on the plane so I think we are good! 10/10 Update: We flew Hawaiian Airlines with no issues! They weighed the dog with the kennel and he’s 12lbs and came out to a total of 16lbs total, they have a cut off of 25lbs for dogs riding in the main cabin, so it didn’t add much weight. I was worried it was an inch over the side restrictions but there was no issues or questions. I slid him under the seat and mid flight unzipped the sides so he could lay out! With a lot of research this was hands down the best choice! Lovveee the sides that open! Easy to carry, and durable support, not cheaply made! We now use it for car rides. A+

There are very limited choices of carriers which comply with the stringent size restrictions of airlines for in cabin flights. This one does. It is of course a little small when not expanded but that is the requirement. It is also good looking and comfy. My cat loves staying in it for long hours.

The media could not be loaded. Our two cats really like it. We bought two of these. We already took the cat to the vet, but never on an airplane. And even after the vet trip, they still return to sit in it.
