I had a old school metal Jabba collar for my lab puller. I always felt like it was hurting him. Even though it never left marks on him. My dogs neck and head are the same size. He would slip out of conventional collars. I saw this rubber one and it is Fantastic! I feel like it dosnt hurt him. It does the job with out jabbing him with the old spikey one. It is very well made. You can take out the individual rubber spacers for a perfect fit.

We have two 8 mo old golden doodles , one needs a restricting collar at all times, but his brother just chewed off the rubber "prongs" within 2 days. Tried to return but apparently I didn't do it in time . :/

About a year ago I purchased the more aggressive collar. Sorry I didn't get this before. My poor dog made it through the tournament of the metal digging into her neck. This unit works great and doesn't seem to hurt her when she pulls and yet it does get attention.

This collar looked interesting and I had hopes that I would be able to get rid of her bulky harness and replace it with this. I have stayed away from choker collars due to the risk of causing neck injury to my dog. This product replaced sharp spikes with softer rubber projections that looked non-traumatic. In use my dog pulled just as hard as ever and seemed to have no qualms about strangling herself with this collar. She panted and huffed during the whole walk and came home huffing for hours after the collar was removed. Not for me and can't recommend.
