I originally purchased a 3 gallon pump pressure spreader from a local store which I must have had for over 30 years. After staining my 180 for dock, I decided that there had to be an easier way then pumping & spraying. That is when I found the Beast. It is incredible how much work I was able to do on my roof to get rid of the black algae and the 12 gallons around my property using the insecticide to remove mosquitoes, ants, palmetto bugs, and noseeums! I keep being amazed how much more work I accomplish. Since we have no staff my wife calls me Dr. Fixit! My next project is to spray all the palm trees with an insecticide on all the frons and leaves. That project is impossible with the 3 gallon manual pump, because my little hand sprayer could not go much more than 6 feet, but with the beast I can shoot to many tops of the palm trees frons. In time I will seal the interlocking pavers. The hundred foot cord which rolls up easily makes the job so much simpler with the 12 gallon container and instead of pumping manually, the electric sprayer works all day long until I have to stop I have never run out of sufficient battery life for constant spraying. Obviously, this is an expensive item for someone who has a piece of property, but it clearly has paid for itself for someone like myself who seems to do everything around the house. I seem to have fallen for this particular machine more than my smoker and grill which absolutely does the best steaks and my wife totally agrees, but the Beast is for me a life saver and has paid for itself in 6 months. At this point I would’ve had to spend $2000 to hire people to do all the jobs I’ve done, and I do a better job with the beast because I mix the chemicals the way I want. This is especially true for those people in Florida because there are chemicals they cannot mix as strongly as I can. Therefore, the beast gets the job done faster and easier for much less money.

I have used it once to apply dormant spray to my fruit trees. It did the job. I especially like the wind-up hose reel so that I could reach everywhere and only moved the sprayer twice. The cart feels a bit tippy on rough ground but it stayed upright. I gave 4-stars to sturdiness because many wand parts are plastic -- don't know how long they will last. I had to contact the chat to register my warranty and customer service by Mikki was excellent.

This is a heavy duty rugged and well built product. It is being used on an 18 hole golf course to irrigate specific small plants at each of the holes specific tee markers. Although each hole has their own dedicated sprinklers and irrigation systems they do not have standard house plumbing spigot for water hoses. Each hole consumes 4 to 6 gallons of water in approximately 15-20 minutes of time. My only issue with this unit is that the USB port was supported by the website video as being capable of charging your external digital devices such as iPhone etc. This is not true. It is a 12 V USB port that only supports the toolbox plug-in flashlight.This is a big disappointment to the operators of the unit that have to be out in the field for 5 to 6 hours and experience battery problems with their digital devices.

We filled it half way with water after assembling it just to see how hard it would be to use it. It is not heavy like the description detail said. It's super easy to push. We had to use one of the tips included to spray a fine line ... but that's what they are for!!! Feels and looks very durable. Love this Petra 12 gallon cart sprayer!!!
