This cat feeder is made with quality products. It is easy to fill and we were very pleased with it. However, we left for a four night trip and when we returned, the food had gotten trapped inside the clear container and failed to drop down into the food dish. I didn't get a picture of that, but the picture here shows how it could be happening again after just one night. Maybe that happened because humidity caused the food to get sticky or maybe the container itself needs a larger opening. Either way, we'll be hesitant to trust this feeder to work when there is no one to check on it daily. ... show more

Love the idea that you can put a significant amount of food in the feeder. We left for vacation and hoped the feeder would be okay while we were gone. Luckily I had a blink camera on the food and water fountain so I could keep an eye on it. The feeder would jam and food would trickle down, only a few pieces. This is great, it's sturdy and easy to clean. My cat was always tipping over his food dish, now no more food all over the floor to clean up. I have 2 cats and this lasts several weeks before I need to refill it.

Very disappointed with the design of this item. The food does not travel down into the bowl area easily at all which is the purpose of the gravity type feeder. I end up having to shake it to move the food down which defeats the purpose of the self-feeder. Very disappointed and I bought 3 of these!!
