This is actually one of the better litter scoopers on the market. Let me say, this isn't the best scooper ever. At first, I thought there has to be one better after millions of cat owners used and provided feedback on scoopers. But no, this large cheap scooper is probably as good as there is right now. Disclosure, we have only used clay litter up to now. Maybe other scoopers are better suited to other types of litter. I've tried metal ones and they're practically all the same with such wide holes (1/4" whether straight or slanted), that small clumps of dirty litter fall through, making it a difficult task to remove all the dirty litter and keep the litter box clean for any period of time. Also, most of them have no holes on the sides or back of the scoop, so you can't shake out the clean litter unless it's in the middle of the scoop. I thought metal scoopers would Not allow dirty litter to stick to them like plastic ones do, but they're no better with that issue. The most important criteria: This scooper has narrower holes to allow you to clean more of the small dirty clumps and yet the holes are narrow enough that clean litter can easily flow back into the box. The very front edge of the giant size has no holes so you can use that part to scoop up tiny dirty litter clumps without frustration. The giant size is a nice size to cover more "ground", so you're not cleaning forever. I can't believe a scooper hasn't been created yet with the perfect sized holes AND with holes in the right locations to allow for scooping dirty litter efficiently AND in a material that does not allow dirty litter to stick to it AND is not $35 (which is ridiculous). So, for a few dollars, you can buy this scooper which comes close to meeting all this criteria. If you find a better scooper, let me know!!! ... show more

I should have paid more attention to the dimensions listed in the description and not relied on the word "Jumbo.". It's a very average sized scooper, wide enough for most clumped waste, but not the biggest I've seen. It's sturdily made, so I'll use it, but I'm going to keep searching for a truly jumbo scooper to replace my old one ... show more

Cleaning the litter box is so much easier when you have a sturdy scooper and this one is strong and reliable. The handle doesn't bend and it's the right size. I'm really glad that I bought two at this great price too.

Have not actually used yet- ratings reflect that. But I did notice when I unpacked it felt comfortable & sturdy. ( I had cats for more than 40 years - so I’ve gone thru my share of scoopers - will update if there is any shortcomings.) Item was packaged in appropriate sized box- adequately protected - no damage visable. Fast delivery! So yay!
