The plastic piece that the collar slides through broke off after a week. Worked good up till then. Unable to be used now.

I am extremely happy with my purchase. It is exactly what I had been looking for. I was skeptical at first about using it on my dog in fear of it actually hurting him but I tested the shock feature up to level 10 on myself and it would scare me even though I was the one pushing the button. It was not painful at all. The vibration can get pretty strong and that just scares my dog anyways. It usually doesn't take any more than to just beep it at him and he starts listening. Wow! We have managed to completely train our pup, whom was extremely resisting training prior. We don't even use the shock feature. The vibration and beep worked well for her! Much better for her to be in our yard with us without the leash. Note: this should never take the place of a leash when in public. But for our yard, Jaydan can play and run around and know her boundaries. Helped with commands such as, "dog off" and "stay" and "sit". ... show more

If I could give this product no stars I would. We bought this 2 weeks ago and haven’t even had to use anything mire that the vibrating setting. Last night I noticed my dog was acting funny and took her collar off to find this. This collar malfunctioned and has not burned and put 4 holes in her neck. I got this for my PyreDoodle that just wants to chew on absolutely everything and try to go after my ducks and chickens and with this I use only vibrating function and it works great.
