Just stood this up five minutes ago, so she’s too involved with the squirrels outside to realize she can climb up LOL, but here are my impressions: - very good quality and modern style looks nice in our living room - no gross cheap carpet, very well-finished with no rough edges. The fabric is very soft and nicely wrapped on the bottom of each level, so even from below it looks nice. Yes, you can see the seams on the round posts where the fabric is joined, but barely - if it bothers you, just screw them in so the seam faces the wall. - easy to assemble - maybe 10 minutes - though for optimal strength and security, you’ll want to turn the posts really really tight, and for that you’ll need some strength or help from someone who has it. If you have arthritis, for example, you’ll want some help. - you’ll need a step stool or ladder to place the tree with the tension rod, because you will need to be able to use one hand to pull the tension rod top down while you stand the tree upright, and then release it to hold it in place. - the L bracket I couldn’t figure out how to use, as the hole for the bracket is about 6” from the edge of the platform, but the L bracket is only 2” long. It would benefit from having the reinforcement, so my suggestion is to plan to buy a longer L bracket from the hardware store, or perhaps use another method to secure it, e.g., using a short piece of rope to secure it with an eye hook in the wall. - our cat is 7lbs. and she’s the perfect size for the tree. Our cat who just passed was 21” long, and she wouldn’t have been able to lay anywhere on the tree. All in all, I’m incredibly pleased with the quality of the tree for the price - just fantastic. (I know everyone hates on products made in China, but there shouldn’t be any complaints about this one, considering the $59 price and what you get.)

Can’t beat the price, great value. It was easy to assemble and has been sturdy for over a year with my young ten pound psycho cat. My cat absolutely loves it and uses it daily to get his zoomies out and to scratch. Still looking and functioning great after a year of consistent use, so much so that I haven’t even bothered to anchor it to the wall, it has stayed put just fine using only tension. It wobbles a bit when kitty runs really fast but no stability issues. I’m probably going to order another one and connect with floating shelves on the wall for a little cat highway. Overall: if you’re on the fence I recommend!

I honestly really love this cat tree ; it was super easy to assemble, sturdy, and adjustable, and my cat loves it and even utilizes the scratch posts, saving my furniture 😅 Also, the soft pink color is pretty and subtle enough to not stick out like a sore thumb in my living room. It takes up very little space so my small living room also doesn’t look crowded or cluttered. It is infinitely better than a large and clunky traditional free-standing cat tree. My only complaints are that: 1. The perch on the top is wayyy too small, so that even my small cat can’t fit in it, and 2. Both of the little dangly poof balls that come with it immediately broke with the slightest tug on the elastic string. These are both minor inconveniences, and overall I really love this cat tree and would definitely recommend it.

This is a great cat tree - my cat loves this! I have mine up against the wall to help my cat get on top of my bookshelves, so the stability is great but can't attest to free standing stability. The tension on the pole is great and it hasn't moved or shifted at all since I have gotten it. My upstairs neighbor says they can't hear anything and my cat uses it every day to scratch/jump/etc. My cat loves the scratching post areas and mainly uses it to sit on to look around or play on. The shelves do tend to shift around, but not too much of an issue for us.

First, the Cons: 1) The materials are cheap. The shelves are MDF and not particularly dense MDF at that. They would easily break under vigorous use by a heavier cat or use by multiple cats. The fabric covering on the post/center pieces and shelves is thin and flimsy. It definitely won't hold up, long term, to cat claws and/or teeth. The sisal wrapping around the center post/pieces is thin and flimsy. As with the fabric, I doubt it will last long term. 2) It's not particularly stable. I didn't end up using the PVC coupler or the second piece of tubing as my ceilings aren't that high. If I had higher ceilings, I wouldn't use the two pieces of included PVC on the top tension bit. I'd go to Home Depot/Lowe's/hardware stone and buy and single piece with the thickest walls I could find. I'd also forego the little disk and engineer something with more real estate to spread the load of the tension across. However, I don't need that and using just a single section of PVC and the included tension disk. I purchased a heavy duty L-bracket from the hardware store, found a stud and mounted the bracket to the cat tree and the wall stud. This made it infinitely more stable. My kitten is currently 4 pounds, so we'll see how that holds up over time. And now for the Pros: 1) The overall concept is nice! It's tall, simple and minimal. If it was made of higher quality materials, I think it would be a really nice cat tree. (I intend to actually see if I can make a nicer version, with slightly wider shelves). If you have a small space, don't want to drill a bunch of holes in the walls, or just want something clean and simple, it's a nice design. I also like the light, neutral colors. 2) My kitten really likes it! She's five months old and started climbing all over it even as I was building it. She easily made her way to the top of the cat tree and slept up there for a couple of hours. I'd say it's a better "ladder" to access other places than as an actual cat tree. 3) It works decently for smaller and lighter cats.
