My cats jump up on this daily. They like the scratching post and climb up to the top to sit. The top perch is at at a bit of an awkward angle so its hard for them to get up and down. One of my cats is large and he often just kind of flings himself off the top to the floor. he cant get the right angle to jump down to the next level. It also wobbles when he is up there. My cats were up on this thing in under 5 minutes. Not even kidding. We now have 4 cat trees in their room and we have 3 cats. We set this up so that they could jump from tree to tree, which they are doing. We have one that took to the top level, one in the little house thing and our 3rd cat went to the little cave thing. They seem to love it. It is in front of a window so we couldn't secure it to a wall. We put a 35-36 big pack of Dr. Pepper below the hammock on the bottom and it fits and works perfectly. It came a day before we expected it so that was nice. Didn't take more than 20 min to put it together.....would have been sooner had we read the directions better. Perfect for large cats, but I would recommend this tree for any size! My big boy (~15 lbs and very long) fits perfectly and he sleeps for hours on the top. I don’t have it bolted to the wall but it’s very stable and only wiggles a little when he jumps up.

We have a 15 year old cat who is doing quite well for his age, but he’s no young spring chicken. He uses the 3rd level (cave) the most and the 2nd level (hammock) next most. The 4th level (the top) is too high for him to reach by himself though. He can’t seem to get up there (though he tries) and he can’t get down when I put him up there. He does like being up there when I put him there. The steps are too steep at that tallest part for him. Overall it’s a great cat tree! He spends a lot of time sleeping in it! ... show more

My cat already loves the tree. its a bit wobbly, and you can see a few staples between the fabric and scratching part on the legs but overall good quality for the price. This cat tree is super soft and cozy, and almost 5 feet tall. However, the lack of words on the instructions made what seemed easy enough a bit difficult. We still have no clue what to do with the brown piece that hangs down above the hammock! I’ll likely take it off. Besides that it was easy enough to build, and so rewarding to see how my cat enjoys. Overall this cat tower is nice, my cat likes it. But as others have pointed out it's not very stable. The reason is easy to see - the base is not large enough, nor heavy enough for the height of the unit. It comes with an attachment to afix to a wall, but I did not like that option. I used some zip ties and affixed it to a window handle. At least I know it won't tip over. ... show more

This tree it the perfect height & sturdiness of any I have ever purchased! It was 2 minutes completed and against the livingroom window, and 2 of my 3 "kids" hopped right on it! The 2 best features are the size of the top "bed...all of the trees I've had/ still have come/came with a "bed" big enough for a kitten, but not any larger size cat. As a result, Charlie, who LOVES those areas, oozes over the sides; but he fits perfectly on this one! Very sturdy and seems well made. The three beds are perfect size for kittens or smaller cats. I have a larger cat as well and unfortunately he is too big to lay on the pedestals. Great for small or medium cats though. My kittens spend most of the day on here and love napping in it.
