As the product says, this is not meant for chewers. My fur babe isn't a chewer of things at all, but he does like to tear things down if he's bored, and he does just that with this bumper. I love the look of it and it is nice quality. I think I'll remove it until he's a little older (and hopefully stops that behavior). He does just fine with the crate pad that comes with the set. He's jostled it around a bit at times, but mostly leaves it be. And because of it's somewhat firm design, it stay in place nicely. I love this stuff, just be aware a curious puppy may do some damage. Paxton pulled one of the velcro pieces off. Luckily I got it from him, but that one doesn't work now.

Overall this is a nice quality item. It does the job well, I do wish the velcro tabs were a bit larger and a bit longer for the corners that sit against the back of the cage especially. Does what it is supposed to, provides a nice barrier between the wire crate and your loved one and I love the softness of it. Tried it through the washer and dryer and had no issues, held up beautifully. However, while this is a good quality product, there are a few tweaks that can be made to improve it as previously mentioned and it is definetly on the higher end price wise. In the future I would love to see the company compromise a little with the cost and offer this as a combo pack so you can get the bumpers and the matching crate mat together rather than having to order separately. Makes it a bit of a Hassel.

This would be 5 stars if the fasteners were more sturdy. As is, it kept falling down off the crate so I punched holes in the fabric and used ribbons to tie to the crate.

The media could not be loaded. My puppy chewed 4 of the velcro parts off. I’m not sure why they are designed this way where the velcro parts are only at the top of the fabric instead of a little lower towards the middle, they could even add some at the bottom to hold it in place & i say that bc my pup was able to easily move it up as the parts she chewed on dont keep it in place. This could’ve definitely been better constructed. I bought this 2-3 weeks ago and now i cant use it at all.

My #55 tripawd is a morning seizer, twice he seizes in his crate without a bumper and I had to crawl in his crate and try and dig him out with his limbs all splayed out and his poor toes crammed in the crate wire. Since installing this bumper he’s had 2 more and I can just let him do his thing until it passes, it pass and protects his head and his legs. The Velcro that holds it in place is not industrial strength, he has pulled part of it down to use as a pillow, lol, but overall I’m happy with the product and it does what I want it to.

Although it’s pricey, this bumper fits and works great in Martha’s crate. The Velcro tabs hold well. My only concern is if and when the Velcro wears out. Otherwise, I love it and the pink is pretty.
