This is a great bed. My dog has the tendency to tear his beds apart but this bed is tough! He has not been able to rip it at all. It washes easily, it fits perfectly in a larger crate, maintains its shape and thickness to keep my pup comfortable.

We have two large labradors and a medium size Italian water dog that lives outside and enjoy the mud and digging, and any other dirty adventure they can get into. They’re not very easy on anything, and that’s why these beds are awesome. They’re just the right size for our labs, and provide a comfortable and warm Bed during the cooler months of the year. They’re easy enough to throw in a washing machine, and durable enough to stand up to the scratching and chewing and other activities are dogs might engage in. They hold their shape really well and are not too heavy when it comes to moving them around. The nylon material is also cool in the summer, so they make the perfect four season bed. The price is right and they usually last a couple of years before needing to be replaced. But we always replace them with the same bed. We will certainly buy these again ... show more

I love how comfy these are for my huskies! I can wash them in the washing machine or with the power washer with no problem. They stay together really well as long as they aren't chewed. They'll stand up to quite a but of movement and claw contact. I have one chewers though and I can't keep this in his crate. The other one loves it though! They stay fluffy and thick even after months of use and they are pretty reasonably priced too. ... show more

This bed looks and feels like good quality. I am so disappointed that it tore in the washing machine and the stuffing came out. And apparently it's past the return date even though I only bought it 2 months ago. I guess you rub soap on it and spray it with a hose to clean but I bought it because it was supposed to be machine washable. ... show more

The bed is not chew resistant, my dog chewed it and ended up swallowing the waterproof material that the bed is built of, needed emergency surgery due to a blockage, almost died and we ended up paying 13000 dollars

Before this bed, my dog has chewed on every doggy bed she has ever used! This doggy bed is not indestructible but my dog is NOT tempted to chew on the exposed edging or on the slick fabric. She sleeps on this durable doggy bed in her crate at night and sometimes sneaks into the crate to rest on it during the day. UPDATE: I bought this bed several years ago and it’s still great. It’s been blown off the porch and across the yard in storms and rain. My 47 lb medium size dog hasn’t worn it out. Definitely recommend this one. UPDATE: This bed is showing no sign of wear after a couple months of use. My dog is an Australian cattle dog. He’s kind of wired and can be hard on things so I’m very pleased. I read a review saying that this bed wasn’t made with heavy fabric but mine absolutely is. I would definitely repurchase. My dog is sooo happy. He loves his new bed. He’s an outside dog. Of course he has a dog house with a warm bed inside. I put this on the front porch which is where he spends most of his time. I think it keeps him warmer than the bed we replaced. I purposely bought it plenty big so it would kind a of cradle him and protect him from the wind and elements. Seems to be doing just that. It stays clean even though he sheds quite a bit. Doesn’t seem to collect on it. Maybe because of the wind. It does repel water. When it’s raining he stays right there on his bed unless it’s storming. I have two Great Pyrenees Puppies under 4 months old! When we had only one of these, they both chose sharing this cushion over the two other cushions we provided for them. I would often see them both sleeping on it when napping or at night, and they rarely ever lay on the other cushion options. That was enough for me to get a second one so that as they grow they can each have their own dog bed. I love finding things they both love and use a lot! If I had to guess why they prefer this bed over the others, I would guess one of two things: My first guess is that this bed is way more evenly stuffed than the others. It provides more firm cushioning - which they both seem to enjoy. While I'm more certain ^ that's the reason, my second guess would be the material. They chose this bed over a soft material and over a flannel material cushion. This one is definitely water resistant and rarely looks dirty OR covered in fur in comparison to the other two cushions I have when being used. ... show more
