I was unsure if this would fit in the smaller pet kennel but I ordered and am glad I did. It gives my little guy a nice amount of comfort when he's in his kennel. The measurements seemed like it would be a bit big but it fits perfect. He is a chewer (hopefully a puppy stage) but he hasn't touched this. I bought this not for a cage but as a cat bed that fits in a small spot near my computer, hoping it would discourage Kitty from bothering me so much. It's worked great. She likes it so much she even sleeps there sometimes when I'm elsewhere in the house. I guess that about sums it up!
