The best car carrier ever! Shoulder strap fits over headrest. Pet rides safe and can't jump around in the car. Becomes a nice bed at a motol or when visiting others. My 1 year old Shih-Tzu can turn around in it. Bigger than most carriers and well built, good ventilation screens. Would like a strap to secure it around the bottom of the seat back so it can't fling forward in an accident. Also would like the sides more rigid when it is open...it tends to sag a bit in the middle. I love the purple and black color and the rigid bottom when carrying your pet in it. I researched many for hours! A great choice and great price!

Bought this for my mini dachshund and it worked really well, I added a small wooden board under the plush bottom they give you so I had the extra support and that worked out well. We flew on United with no problems! I really appreciated the pockets on the sides as well.

I got this for my 10lb cat. I haven’t taken her on an airplane so I can’t speak to that, but I got it for vet visits and for occasional 2.5 hour drives to visit my mom’s house. My cat’s old crate was a huge plastic one I used because - although she hates being put in any crate/etc - she seemed to especially hate the small crates with little room to move around. That would be fine in theory, except that the big crate is half as big as me and I struggle to carry it because of the sheer bulk. I thought that the bag with the multiple openings might be a nice compromise. Personally, I really like this bag. It’s great quality for the price and seems quite sturdy. I love that the zippers lock easily and there are multiple entries (top and sides). It’s much easier to get Kitty in from above. It seems very breathable. It also has a little spot to slide in an ID card. I cut a piece of cardstock to size and used it to write my name and phone number, as well as some info about Kitty, such as the fact that she can’t see too well anymore. Best of all though, it’s easy for me to carry! It has a nice sturdy shoulder strap as well as shorter carrying handles. It feels comfy to carry and not bulky or heavy. As for Kitty, she still doesn’t love being zipped into a bag and taken away against her will lol. However, it does seem to be a bit of an improvement - I’ve left the bag out on the floor with the side door open when we’re not using it, and I have caught her curled up inside a few times. Once was even within hours of returning home from an almost 3 hour drive! I think she likes the soft interior, and it seems to be a nice size for her. My only concern is with how the mesh will hold up over time. My cat is what I call a “picker” - when I first put her into any transport apparatus, she will have a small “fit” for the first few minutes. This entails crying loudly, and she used to rattle the latch on the crate. Well, now she’s taken to picking at the mesh of this bag with her claws during her fits. It seems to be holding up so far, and I try to discourage it, but I do worry if she wears it down too much. For now I’ll keep an eye out for wear with each use and see how it holds up in the long term. If anything happens, I’ll update this review. Another note, one of the times I brought her in this to my mom’s, during my visit we had to take her ~15lb male cat to the vet. This bag was handy so we just used it to take him. Although it seemed a little bit tight and maybe pushing the weight limit a bit, it didn’t seem to compromise the bag’s sturdiness or anything. It worked fine for a quick to-and-from the vet. While I don’t know if it’s an ideal choice for a cat (or dog) that size, I do think it speaks to the overall quality of the bag. Overall this is a great bag for the price and holds my 10lb cat nicely. Make sure you measure first and you should be good to go!

This model has safety zippers that clip together so kitty can't wrangle out. Over all its a tad small. Not much room. Not that familiar w how big carriers are allowed. I used to take kittens to be fixed. Full grown cats might not fit.

Like this a lot. It is to replace one of the hard cat carriers. My only problem is the zippers are really hard to zip. Don't know if it is because it is new or if I need to use a crayon on them.

My 10-lb. cat has outgrown this, but it was good while he fit. The many doors are very helpful, as most cats don't do well being put into a door at the small end of a carrier--I have most success putting mine through the top. I wish there was mesh on both long sides instead of the pointless extra piece of fabric that looks like a pocket but isn't on the one side. The pocket that IS a pocket is helpful. The insert is a machine-washable, zipped pillowcase made of fleece on one side, nylon on the other, around a piece of plywood. In my opinion, the plywood looks sketchy--it has flecks of color in it that aren't wood colors, and God knows what any plywood is treated with in general--but I could always insert a plastic cutting board or something if I was really worried. If you don't have the wood or any stiff base inside, the whole carrier becomes too floppy to insert a cat--which I guess is good for storage.
